A selection of Japanese work I’ve tattooed over the years — from smaller pieces to full sleeves and larger projects.

Japanese tattooing has always been one of my favourite styles to work in, especially when there’s enough space to build a strong composition and let the design flow properly with the body.

If you’re thinking about starting a Japanese tattoo, whether it’s your first piece or the beginning of a full sleeve, feel free to send me a message.

Thinking about getting tattooed? Here’s how to make it happen 👆

I know booking a tattoo can sometimes feel a bit confusing — especially if it’s your first one — so I’ve put everything you need to know in one place.

Whether you’ve got a fully formed idea, a rough concept, or just a bunch of reference images and no idea how to piece them together, that’s absolutely fine. That’s part of my job.

Have a swipe through, and when you’re ready, get in touch 🙌

Three bangers in one session. Thanks Chris!
Filling in the last few gaps on the arm.
Scorpion, mix tape and a storm cloud — all added to the collection in one sitting.

Which one’s your favourite?

Another fun as project for Havana. All done in one hit and if it wasn’t already a tough enough spot to get tattooed, we then followed it up with another tattoo next to it right afterwards! Havana you crazy mf!

You’ll have to wait for me next post to see that one ;)
Thanks as always for the fun tats bro 🙌

There’s something pretty special about working on a full sleeve.

At the beginning it can feel like a massive undertaking — but you don’t do it all at once. You just keep showing up, session by session, and slowly watch the whole thing come together.

I’ve seen it so many times over the years. You finish a long session completely fucked, but somehow buzzing at the same time.

And when the sleeve is finally finished, it feels like you’ve actually accomplished something pretty fucking massive.

If you’ve been thinking about starting a Japanese sleeve, you don’t need to have it all figured out.

DM me “JAPANESE”.

That’s enough to start. 🤘

Crazy stoked on how this knee gap filler turned out on Sarah!

Honestly, figuring out how to make a design work in the weird spaces between existing tattoos is half the fun.

Got an awkward gap you don’t know what to do with? Get in touch and let’s figure it out together! 🤙

Thanks @raisedbygoblins.ttt this was fun as!
Also check out her tats and give her a follow, she’s doing some cool stuff!

Healed.

I had so much fun creating this piece for Jakob. He came to me with the idea of creating a tattoo based off the @queensofthestoneage song “Lost Art of keeping a secret”

During the consultation we discussed some possibilities and ideas together, decided on the size and colour scheme and then left it up to me to come up with the rest . And this is the result!
Thanks for the trust bro, and thanks for a really fun concept!

Got an idea or concept but don’t know how to turn it into a tattoo ready design?
You don’t have to, that’s my job ;)
DM me now and let’s get together for a no obligation free consultation. There’s no better time than now 🤘

Big ol’ chrysanthemum for Robert, thanks mate!
Squeezed this one nicely into the gaps between the existing tattoos we made together over the last couple of years, to finish up his arm.
Really fun one to work on!

Always happy to tattoo more Japanese florals
