Did a thing and competed at National Strongman for the first time! Great experience learned a lot! The result was good just need to be #stronger and stay healthy! This was the second part of my goal to compete at a National level in CPU Powerlifting and Canadian Strongman at over 50 years old…. Goal completed! #liftingover50 #strongman #powerlifting #albertapowerlifting #albertastrongman @alberta_strongmancorp @albertapowerlifting @steadfastmettle @smartlifts @canadapowerlifting @strongman_corp_canada @albertastrongman #gritpower by @timnadeau

This was fun! Getting to represent Canada at IPF Master Worlds Powerlifting was amazing and an honour! 🇨🇦 I will never forget this experience and hope to do it again soon! Thanks to Garett Bentley Team Canada coach putting me in a spot to medal (but dropped the damn deadlift!). Thanks to my coach Shane Martin for putting up with this old broken powerlifter getting me to this point! Let’s do this again and I won’t drop the last deadlift!

Squat 257.5 kg (Silver in Squat 🥈)
Bench 140 kg
Deadlift 257.5 kg
Total 655 kg (tied for third lost on being too chubby)

White Lights Media did an amazing job!

Almost! @graysonnadeau has eclipsed the #oldman in #powerlifting ! Grayson had a PR in all lifts #squat 232.5 kg #bench 125 kg #deadlift 280 kg! Grayson went for a huge 300 kg #deadlift and locked it out, but only one white light! Thanks to @smartlifts he would have gotten it overturned at jury😜! Great time at @cowtown_showdown as always @littlesavage39 and @leo.kingsfitness #firstclass show! #powerlifting #albertapowerlifting #passthetorch @albertapowerlifting by @timnadeau
