Puppetry In Process
Portland, Oregon
Sunday Aug 16, 2026 ⋅ 5:30pm – 9:30pm

Puppetry is: Anything moved with intent. So you decide if you "do" puppets or just come and vibe.

I am inviting you to bring yourself and a puppet piece to Puppetry in Process event at ADX on the 16th of August. Starting at 5:30. The event is free and open to those that are interested in watching, doing, and learning about the art of puppetry.

The event is in person and can be any style of puppetry: Solo, group, experimental, video- including animation, or Work in Progress- including mask or intent/demo.

It would be great to have you, and others that you think would be interested, to show off what you've been working on- or thinking of working on or previously worked on or to watch others present.
Please let me know if you plan on presenting before the event takes place.
Price is… bring something to share, tea, coffee, soda, ore some such.

Looking for, at least, one additional puppetry performance for an event called “The Works of Edgar Allan Poe: Volume 1” in Portland, Oregon.
It can be any story except for the following: “The Cask of Amontillado” and “Tell Tale Heart”. The show is in October at ADX in Portland and is a part of Portland’s Guild of Puppetry.
20 minutes max. Minimal tech. Almost like a long form slam piece.
Is there pay? Split of the door with a guarantee of $25
Interested in doing a piece or working the show?
Contact me via this app. Please and thanks.
You can also pass this along to yer puppet friend(s).
