So… what does a doula (also called birth companion or birthkeeper) actually do?
Here’s a glimpse of how I support families before, during, and after birth:
• Continuous emotional support
• Evidence-based information
• Birth preparation sessions
• Practical comfort measures in labour (movement, breathing, positioning)
• Advocacy support to help you feel heard during appointments and in labour

What does ti moon mean?
TI MOON (pronounced tee-moon) is a pun based on the word ti moun, which means children in Guadeloupean Creole, and of course the moon, which in many cultures is associated with feminine energy, maternal care, and affection. The moon’s phases also symbolise a person’s phases of learning, letting go, and growing, reflecting the environment I hope to create at ti moon for both children and their parents.
