A friend shared this video of me singing about the goodness of God, and I felt led to share it with you all.
Sometimes we become so familiar with God's goodness and mercy that we forget to pause and thank Him. Yet, His goodness is revealed through His mercy. We experience His goodness not because we deserve it, but because He is merciful. Every new morning is proof that His mercies are new, His goodness never runs out, and His faithfulness never fails.
May this be a reminder to reflect on His goodness and give Him the gratitude He deserves. by @timothymartey_

In Gospel of John 4, Jesus tells the Samaritan woman that whoever drinks the water He gives will never thirst again.
Jesus calls Himself the Living Water because He alone satisfies the deep spiritual thirst of the soul. While the world offers temporary solutions, Christ gives lasting peace, cleansing, and eternal life.
When we receive Him, He becomes a spring within us refreshing, strengthening, and sustaining us in every season.
Only Jesus truly satisfies. 💧✝️ by @timothymartey_

The love of God is not a feeling that fades with seasons. It is not dependent on our performance, our perfection, or our consistency. The love of God is constant steady like the sunrise, faithful like the breath in our lungs.
Before we ever knew Him, He knew us. Before we ever called His name, He had already written ours on His heart. His love is not earned; it is given. Not negotiated; it is poured out freely.
When we fall, His love does not withdraw.
When we fail, His love does not diminish.
When we wander, His love pursues.
God’s love corrects without condemning.
It restores without reminding you of your past.
It covers without exposing your shame.
The cross is the loudest declaration of that love a love that chose sacrifice over distance, mercy over judgment, and relationship over rejection.
In a world where love can be conditional and temporary, God’s love remains eternal and unshaken. It is the kind of love that lifts you when you are weak, strengthens you when you are weary, and calls you worthy even when you feel undeserving.
And the beautiful thing is this:
You don’t have to strive for it.
You only have to receive it.
For God is love and to know Him is to be embraced by a love that never runs dry. by @timothymartey_

paid my dues in low ceilings,
Learned to breathe where dreams suffocate.
This level trained my hunger, not my destiny,
So I’m ghosting comfort and chasing calling.
Same scars, sharper vision,
Same God, heavier grace.
I don’t announce elevation

Today is the first Sunday of the year, the altar of beginnings.
Before the noise of the year finds its voice, we bow. Before our calendars fill, we surrender. Before we ask for blessings, we give God our first.
This day is not just a date; it is a declaration that God is the source, the center, and the sustainer of all that lies ahead. We place the year at His feet, trusting that the One who holds time will order our steps, guard our paths, and shape our purpose.
May this first Sunday consecrate our days, align our hearts, and set our lives on course with heaven’s will. As we begin with God, may we never depart from Him. 🙏 by @timothymartey_
