Timothy Midnight, originally from Idaho, USA is an artist and drummer of indie rock band @nick.diver Timothy works between Margate in Kent and East London.

Timothy has a unique style of painting using varying layers, thick impasto and swift brushstrokes, bringing a 3D effect to his work, whilst adding depth and texture.

‘Cats Who Smoke’ is the alias used by Timothy for his art. Each cat symbolises the hip, trendy and edgy side of the creative community that now plays centre stage in Margate.

Works available now at Chelsea House Gallery.
