here is our shared album from our trip to süsfrankreich 🇫🇷 our annual getaway is already in its 6th year now and this one was honestly extra special. even though our main activity was eating croissants, this year was filled mostly with playing boules like french retirees, knitting like it’s a full time job, getting competitive over wizard, having cozy movie nights, watching the sunrise, going surfing together, riding bikes along the coast, reading our horoscopes, extra special dinners and a day trip to bordeaux, you name it.
it all went by way too fast but at the same time it somehow felt like time stood still. many more breaks just like this one.

july was basically one big tribute to all things cycling. when the heat became unbearable, my daily routine shifted to staring at the tv or watching streams on my phone. between that screen time, we had an absolute blast in the karwendeltal where our cycling film is finally taking real shape. also packed up my bike for a tour through the flatlands of niederrhein, spent a solid amount of quality time back home and spent an entire weekend picking and sorting plums to get very delicious cake. by @timpfeffer

june recap, very late, but you don’t care 🤷🏼‍♂️ dad turned 60 and entered his best decade yet, pretty sure 90% of my body mass is now made of ice cream, stracciatella is the only correct flavor. we got the keys to the new office so we can have good coffee and table tennis matches everyday, went to hamburg for a shoot and had lunch breaks in hammocks, did a yard sale and forced my old stuff onto my friends. bad bunny was pure insanity and their gimbal operator was pure fire, football world cup is over sadly, but tour de france has already started to make up for it. otherwise it was a cozy mix of cycling, playing catan, and marianne was back so we basically just took a lot of naps together. by @timpfeffer

05/26 started with hot summer days in berlin. first of may party, coffees and work.
but because life is a plot twist, my immune system crashed and I got sick.
I could watch the giro from our couch, and marianne was finally back with us. turns out sport events and a dackel make being miserable a lot more bearable.
luckily i got better i spent the rest of the month cycling, eating fries and ice creams. by @timpfeffer

it’s hard to summarize this month and squeeze it to one slide. started with a short vacation before heading off to sierra nevada, where the scenery was beautiful but the climbs were real. it was a massive highlight shooting there and meet so many new people, even if i spent most of my season kick off on the bike just trying to hold the wheel of these british guys. my recovery is at an all-time low and but at least my heart is full. also, café con ron is stuck in my head and has been the soundtrack to it all. by @timpfeffer
