End of the road Nintendo officially shut down Mario kart tour after seven year run TOKYO - Nintendo has officially shut down its mobile racing game, Mario Kart Tour. concluding seven years of service for the free-to-play title. The game’s servers went offline on September 29, 2026, at 11:00 p.m. Pacific Time, making the app completely unplayable on both iOS and Android devices. Unlike Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. which was released with a standalone offline version after its closure, Nintendo has confirmed that no offline edition of Mario Kart Tour will be available.

Legacy Impact
City tracks preserved via Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC
Early monetization strategies for the game, including loot-box-style gacha mechanics, faced criticism from players. In response, Nintendo revamped the system, shifting to a direct-purchase spotlight shop. This change ultimately helped build a dedicated player base and allowed the game to serve as a testing ground for course designs that were later incorporated into Mario Kart 8 Deluxe through the Booster Course Pass DLC.
What Happens Now?
With the servers now offline, players who open the app will see an end-of-service message. In-game purchases, including Rubies and Gold Pass subscriptions, were disabled earlier in the summer leading up to the final shutdown.
Nintendo released an official statement thanking the community: We sincerely thank the many players who have loved and supported the game since service began so long ago.
Although fans of mobile Mario games can no longer race on their phones, much of Mario Kart Tour’s original course design continues to exist across modern Nintendo hardware. #nintendo #mariokart #mariokarttour by @timrecknercomnews

THE $118K AD SCANDAL IS FAKE. (Grab your popcorn. 🍿 The $118,000 advertising disaster isn’t a mistake; it’s a stunt.

The claim that Mighty Mike Plays accidentally ran up a $118,000 credit card bill doesn’t hold up under basic scrutiny:

Ad Limits Don’t Work Like That. No ad platform allows a standard account to accumulate $118K without hitting daily spending caps, credit card limits, or triggering automated fraud alerts first.

The $97 Funnel: The immediate launch of a $97 product wasn’t an emergency backup plan—it was the punchline of the entire campaign.

Manufactured outrage and sympathy generate millions in free organic reach. Why spend $118K on ads when you can get the internet talking about you for free?

This isn’t a tragic mistake; it’s a staged viral campaign designed to convert sympathy into sales.

Are you convinced by the apology, or is the internet finally seeing through the stunt? Share your thoughts below!

25 Years Later: Remembering September 11, 2001 🕊️
Today marks a quarter-century since 2,977 innocent lives were taken at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
We pause today to honor the victims, pay tribute to the incredible bravery of our first responders and everyday citizens, and reflect on a day that changed our world forever.
May we never forget their sacrifice, strength, and memory. 🕯️

Why Haven’t Souderton High School Facilities Been Upgraded? 🏫💰
Since opening in 2009, SAHS has remained relatively unchanged—leaving parents, athletes, and students asking why major upgrades (like the natatorium and athletic wings) haven’t been scheduled.
Here is a quick look at where the district stands:
Where Taxes Go: With average property taxes around $5,802 and a 37.3842 millage rate, revenue goes heavily toward district-wide operational costs, inflation, and routine maintenance.
Prioritizing Feeder Schools: Capital funds are currently focused on urgent infrastructure (roofs, HVAC, water filtration) at older campuses like Indian Crest, Indian Valley, and Salford Hills.
Cost & Tax Impact: Overhauling major facilities costs millions, and the board faces pressure to avoid taking on new debt while property taxes are already rising.
The Verdict: There are currently no official plans or board approvals for major construction at SAHS. The campus will remain under routine maintenance for now.
