I don’t love having a parkade on Rice Howard Way, but at least they’ve made some facade improvements that make it a little more pleasant to walk by. Doesn’t make up for the street facing businesses we could have here in the heart of our Entertainment District, but it’s something. The heritage building displays on this street are a nice touch although you have to ignore that they’re on a parkade that almost certainly replaced a torn down heritage building. #yegdt by @timschneiderfm

I’m really inspired by this refreshed facade lighting on the union bank building on our main street. We have some programs for heritage lighting but there’s so much possibility for a select few buildings downtown #yegdt by @timschneiderfm

Last weekend I organized the annual spring clean-up for DECL and I’m still buzzing with the energy and generosity of all the volunteers that came out to help (with special thanks to the Rotary Club). There’s nothing better than doing good with like-minded people. Glad that Downtown is a little bit cleaner and looking forward to the next one! by @timschneiderfm
