I’ve been doing some technical gear training dives over the past few weeks in anticipation of diving the wreck of the HMCS Yukon next week. ⚓️

I was a young diver when the Yukon sank over 20 years ago, and I have wanted to explore her ever since.

Huge thanks to the team at @catalinadiverssupply - specifically @scuba_joel and @suzyultra for the supportive training! taken in Casino Point Dive Park, Catalina Island by @timscottbennett

Such beautiful diving over the past two weeks! Last week on the wreck of the HMCS Yukon in San Diego, and this week at @casinopointdivepark in Catalina with @catalinadiverssupply! Breathtaking sea life - schools of thousands of fish, scores of garibaldi, and a giant black sea bass that had to be over 6’ long! taken in Casino Point Dive Park, Catalina Island by @timscottbennett

Great night tonight at the ballpark! I got to stand on the field and watch my friends @ashleyeckstein and @davideckstein22 throw out the first pitch(s) before they spent the night meeting fans and signing copies of their new books JUST ENOUGH (the story of David’s career and journey to become World Series MVP,) and LUCKY 22 (Ashley’s romance inspired by their actual story!)

I highly recommend both books - they’re inspiring and engaging stories, and especially fun for the baseball and Star Wars fans among us! #justenough #lucky22 #worldseriesmvp2006 #ahsokatano taken in Angel Stadium by @timscottbennett

As always, D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event was a magical chance to interact with fans and pull back the curtain on everything that we have coming up. At Spotlight Stage we had amazing guests from Pete Docter to Jodi Benson to Ming Na Wen. From Broadway stars to Pixar and Marvel creatives, a heavy metal take on Disney tunes to deep dives into the creative process behind upcoming animated films. Disney continues to grow and push creative boundaries, and it’s thrilling to be part of their world! @disneyd23 taken in D23 Expo by @timscottbennett

Diving Catalina! I was able to return to a long time passion last weekend when I went diving with my daughter Violet as she got Scuba certified in Catalina! I love that I can now share amazing adventures under the sea with both of my girls!

Today we launch Arrival of the Empire, the new Darth Vader show moment, and other exciting changes to Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland! It was a thrill to direct this special collaboration between Disney Live Entertainment, Walt Disney Imagineering, and LucasFilm - and it’s an even bigger thrill to now watch our guests experience it!

Seeing Star Wars as a boy was a foundational experience for me. It deeply influenced my approach to storytelling and my concept of spirituality. It’s such a gift to be able to work with these characters and stories now as an adult.
Best. Job. Ever!
