I have been chasing this watch for a long time. You see, back when I found my first vintage Vulcain Cricket, I also discovered this model. I knew I had to have one but boy, it took a long time to find the right one. It’s small alright, about 22/23mm side to side, and that’s part of the marvel of this Golden Voice. When the cal 120 Vulcain Cricket was introduced back in the day, it was an astonishing achievement in its own right in my opinion, double barreled and etc. But then at some point along the way, I suppose Vulcain said “let’s make it smaller”. Voilà! The Golden Voice, an alarm in a case size of 23mm??? Astonishing. Why this isn’t more widely accepted and recognized as an engineering and design marvel for our little horological universe I’ll never understand (check out that movement shot at the end). Will I wear this out and about? Probably not. But my lovely wife will certainly be. Maybe I’ll steal it here and there just to wear around the house 😉. Truly. Astonishing. #vulcain #vulcainwatches #vulcaincricket #vulcainwatch #goldenvoice #vintagewatch #tinywatch #vintagealarmwatch #hodinkee #vintagevulcainwatches #vintagewatchcollecting #vintagevulcaincricket by @timtockwatches

Strong chance these two might have sat together when new. Two very similar cases both in construction and design. by @timtockwatches
