Thank you to everyone who came out to Argonne Playground for our campaign kickoff: neighbors, parents, friends. Seeing so many of you show up on a beautiful San Francisco morning reminded me why I’m running.

Our students deserve a school board that keeps SFUSD on stable financial footing, which gives families predictability and keeps great teachers in our classrooms. That’s the work I’ve done for over 20 years in public finance, and it’s what I’ll bring to the Board of Education. by @timtungsf

“San Francisco families deserve a school district that delivers results for our kids and uses taxpayer dollars responsibly. Tim Tung is an SFUSD parent with two decades of public finance experience and a proven commitment to fiscal accountability. He brings exactly the kind of leadership SFUSD needs to get back on track.” — Mayor Daniel Lurie by @timtungsf

It was a great night at the SF Democratic Party's gala, surrounded by so many people dedicated to defending our democracy and building a city that works for everyone. I’m running for school board to make sure that mission extends to our public schools. Thrilled to have the SF Democratic Party's endorsement! by @timtungsf

Proud to have the endorsement of the United Democratic Club.

The United Democratic Club believes education is a basic human right and that everyone should have access to free, quality public education. That's the kind of vision our schools need someone to fund and protect.

I've spent my career holding public agencies accountable to their goals and I'm ready to do that for SFUSD. by @timtungsf

Glad to show up and make public comment at today's SFUSD school board meeting to support the drive for a new Mandarin Immersion School. The district committed to announcing the temporary site location within the next two weeks and I look forward to hearing that great news once it's available! by @timtungsf

I spent the afternoon at the SF D11 Dems picnic today. It is always great to talk with neighbors about what our schools need: more predictability for families, better student outcomes, and fiscal accountability. by @timtungsf

Proud to have the endorsement of Congressman Kevin Mullin.

I've spent my career making sure public dollars are spent honestly and effectively — and that's exactly the kind of oversight our schools need right now. Grateful to have his support as we work to bring fiscal accountability and real results to SFUSD. by @timtungsf

Thank you to the staff at @sf_port for providing the Citizens' General Obligation Bond Oversight Committee with a tour of the Waterfront Resilience Progam projects. It is very helpful for us as we oversee the expenditure of hundreds of millions of dollars of bond proceeds on behalf of the public. by @timtungsf

Proud to have the endorsement of GrowSF.

GrowSF believes San Francisco deserves an outcomes-focused school board that measures whether kids are actually learning to read, learning math, and getting access to strong programs, and holds itself accountable when they're not. That's exactly the board I want to help create.

Twenty years in public finance taught me the same lesson education needs right now: you can't fix what you don't measure. I'm ready to bring that discipline to SFUSD. by @timtungsf
