What a week at NACM All South 2026! From travel woes and hotel hiccups to the nerves that come with stepping onto a keynote stage, there were plenty of opportunities to get distracted—but nothing was going to deter me from delivering #TheIntentionalLeader.

I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve as the opening keynote speaker, but even more grateful for the conversations, connections, and relationships that followed.

Sometimes the greatest impact happens after the microphone is turned off.

Thank you again, NACM SW, for the opportunity, the hospitality, and an unforgettable week!

Last month, we said goodbye, but today I find myself pushing through all the emotions as I remember the man who taught me so much without ever needing a stage. You showed me what faithfulness looks like, what hard work looks like, and what it means to love your family well.

When I look at this picture, I see more than a father holding his son. I see safety. I see strength. I see a man who spent his life pouring into others, making sacrifices, solving problems, and quietly building a legacy that will outlive him.

Last weekend was full of love, honor, and legacy for our dad, Deacon William V. Lane Sr. ❤️
Thank you to every family member, friend, church family, and especially the Mangum community for showing up and celebrating my dad’s life with us.
Like the Pittsburgh Steelers, my dad represented toughness, consistency, loyalty, and legacy. He was foundational.
But most importantly… congratulations Daddy on finding that “better country” spoken of in Hebrews 11:16. Your work here is done. Rest well. 🕊️ by @timzlane

Preaching my first sermon while my Pastor @iamdereknettles watched on.

This moment was a reminder that purpose leaves no room for competition.

When you’re confident in the assignment God has given you, you don’t fight for the spotlight — you make room for others to step into theirs. This is exactly what Pastor Derek has exemplified! And let’s be honest, there is NO ONE that can preach like that man!

That’s the beauty of uncommon friendship. Secure people celebrate calling and push others into purpose!
