Sometimes we want to skip a few steps and get straight to the top. 😂

Wouldn't that be nice?

But most things worth doing take time.

I'm learning that you don't need to have it all figured out or make a giant leap. Sometimes 10 minutes, one new thing learned or one small decision is enough to move you forward.

If you've been thinking about a different direction for your next chapter, remember that it's okay to start small.

The stairs still lead up. ❤️

What's one small step you're taking today?

Happy birthday to this guy! 🎂🍒

Cherry cheesecake is Brice’s all-time favorite, so of course I made one. Seeing that smile was worth every minute in the kitchen.

Mondays are my “work on my business” day, and I love that I get to build something of my own and still make time for the moments that matter, like a birthday cheesecake. That’s what flexibility looks like to me. ❤️

Tell me I’m not the only one who believes the best celebrations are homemade. What’s the dessert someone in your family asks for every year? 👇

Monday morning essentials. ☕📓

I'm a planner, so the week usually starts with a list. 😂

This week, I'm keeping it simple. Three things. The rest can wait.

A longer list doesn't always mean a better day. Progress can be one small step at a time.

Are you a list maker or more of a go-with-the-flow person?

𝐖𝐇𝐘 𝐃𝐎 𝐒𝐎𝐌𝐄 𝐏𝐄𝐎𝐏𝐋𝐄 𝐒𝐔𝐂𝐂𝐄𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐎𝐍𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐄 𝐁𝐔𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐖𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐄 𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐒 𝐃𝐎𝐍'𝐓?

I don’t think it’s talent or luck. I think a lot of it comes down to this: many of us give up before we’ve really given ourselves a chance.

We get excited about something new. Then it’s slower or harder than we expected, so we start looking for the next thing. And the cycle repeats.

Here's something worth thinking about...

Even with good training, mentorship and systems in place, building a digital business still takes effort.

You have to be willing to learn, put what you've learned into practice, make mistakes and keep improving along the way.

And let's be honest, it doesn't always go as planned!

Success isn't guaranteed, and not every opportunity is the right fit for everyone.

But starting over and over can mean you never get the time to build the skills that only come from sticking with something.

Progress is slower than I’d like some days. Often it’s just being patient with myself and taking the next small step.

A little Halloween night fun! 🎃👻

Some seriously creative decorations out there tonight! I love seeing how much effort people put into making Halloween extra special.

Hope everyone had a spooktacular Halloween!

Did you have a favourite decorated house this year?

Good morning and Happy Halloween! 🎃👻

I think even ghosts and pumpkins need their morning coffee before getting into the Halloween spirit! 😂

Whether today is filled with costumes, trick-or-treaters, Halloween treats or just a regular Saturday, I hope you find a little something fun to enjoy.

Wishing everyone a spooktacular Halloween!

🐾 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐟𝐮𝐧 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭!

Did you know dogs can use familiar scents and daily routines to help anticipate when someone is coming home?

Duke looks like he's got this whole thing figured out! 😂

Does your dog know when it's almost time for someone to walk through the door?

Tell me I'm not the only one with a furry little detective at home!

For me, the routine is comfortable. It’s also the same every day.

There’s comfort in knowing what’s coming. But I’d like more flexibility, more freedom to travel and more time with family.

I’m not trying to rush it. I’m learning at my own pace, one step at a time, in the pockets of time I can find.

You don’t have to figure it all out on your own. Having training and people I can ask has made a difference for me.

One thing I've learned is that you don't always need hours of free time to work towards something new.

For me, it's usually in the little windows of time before Brice gets home or after dinner.

Most days, I can squeeze in 10–30 minutes. If I'm learning something new, I usually need a little longer.

And some days? It's only a few minutes.

But you know what? Those few minutes still count.

I've learned that it's not about having the perfect schedule or waiting until you have a whole afternoon free. It's about making use of the time you do have.

Little by little, those pockets of time add up!

It’s easy to spend so much time thinking about what could go wrong that we forget to consider what could go right.

Trying something new can feel uncomfortable. We wonder if we’re making the right decision, if we’ll figure it out, or if we should just stick with what we know.

But what if we gave ourselves permission to try anyway?

We don’t have to have everything figured out. Sometimes we just need to take that first step and see where it leads.

So, this morning, let’s focus a little less on the what-ifs that hold us back and a little more on the possibilities that excite us.

What’s one thing you’re excited about right now? 😊

Well, look who’s getting a little taste of winter! ❄️🐾

The dogs might be ready for the snow, but I’m not sure I am! 😂

I’m still hoping for a few more fall days before winter decides to settle in.

Tell me, do your dogs love the snow, or are they more of the stay-inside-and-keep-warm type? 🐶

Good morning! Another day, another to-do list. ☕

The computer is on, the paperwork is waiting, and there's no shortage of things to get done today!

Some days, I swear the to-do list grows faster than I can check things off. Anyone else? 😂

One thing I've learned after years of working in an office is that no two days are exactly the same, even when the routine feels pretty familiar.

Here's to getting through the day, one task (and one cup of tea) at a time!
