London Marathon 2026
⌚️3:38 TCS London Marathon

Congratulations 🥂 to everyone who ran this weekend & not just London Marathon (other Marathon were available 🤣). This Marathon will be sadly one I’ll never forget. The first message I woke up to was from my lovely Dad saying “She’s Gone”. Sadly my Step Sister (59) lost her battle to cancer. This alone is devastating news however my step Mother who has dementia is reliving the moment ever few minutes and my Dad having to console her . Life can be so cruel.

I started running Marathons in 2018 at London and finished my last Marathon this day .. I’m am so grateful to have finished. From the second half I was hurting (back & hip issues ). I could have easily thrown in the towel it was that bad. I did not see or hear the crowds or notice Big Ben. My thoughts were solely on my family and the great loss they are suffering. My Sister doesn’t get to finish her day . I’m most definitely was going to get to the finish line no matter what and did.

My day may have started sad and I may of been in a world of pain. I won my battle .. sadly she didn’t and my Mother will forget for a while that she’s gone then sadly rembers all over again & again & again 💔 ..

Enjoy every day and be greatful for every breath you beautiful people …

Thank you to all that have donated so far … Tina Runner for Dementia : PLEASE SEE BIO FOR THE LINK 🔗 TO DONATE.. 🙏 by @tinahill69
