🟦 Détail de Cartographie d’un effacement. J’ai commencé par la surface: laine feutrée, indigo fait main, quelques lignes cousues comme des repères.

Cette série est une contre-cartographie féminine.
Pas une carte pour dominer un territoire, mais pour rendre visibles des traces qu’on a longtemps laissées hors champ.
Ce qui m’intéresse, c’est l’endroit où la couleur apparaît, puis se retire. Là où l’histoire devient presque silencieuse.

🟦 Detail of Cartography of an erasure.
I started with the surface: felted wool, handmade indigo, a few stitched lines as simple markers.

This series is a feminine counter-cartography.
Not a map to dominate a territory, but a way to make visible traces that have long been kept out of frame.
I’m drawn to the moment colour appears and then withdraws, where history becomes almost quiet.

🟦 Cartographie d’un effacement. Je cherche à dessiner un territoire qui disparaît.

L’indigo retient une mémoire fragile, puis se dissout, comme un horizon qui hésite.
La laine feutrée, la couture, les lignes brodées: des repères simples, presque domestiques, pour parler de ce qui s’efface sans bruit.

Ce carrousel montre l’œuvre et ses détails.
Une carte non pour trouver, mais pour accompagner l’absence.

I’m trying to draw a territory that is disappearing.

Indigo holds a fragile memory, then dissolves, like a hesitant horizon.
Felted wool, stitching, embroidered lines: simple markers, almost domestic, to speak about what fades quietly.

A map not to locate, but to accompany absence.

🟦 Cartographie d’un effacement. Dans cette pièce, je travaille l’idée d’une trace qui disparaît au moment même où elle apparaît.

La laine feutrée forme une surface douce, presque peau. J’y couds des lignes comme des repères, des coutures de mémoire.
L’indigo, réalisé à la main, ne “colore” pas: il traverse, il se dépose par endroits, puis s’éteint.
Ce qui m’intéresse, c’est ce bord flou. La zone où l’on ne sait plus si l’on regarde une présence ou son retrait.

In this piece, I work with the idea of a trace that fades at the very moment it appears.

Felted wool becomes a soft surface, almost like skin. I stitch lines into it like markers, seams of memory.
Handmade indigo doesn’t “colour” the work: it moves through it, settles in places, then quiets down.
What matters to me is that blurred edge, the zone where you can’t tell if you’re looking at presence or withdrawal.

🟦 Suite d'un me^me instant, en résidence à la @montressoartfoundation .
On voit mieux l’échelle de la pièce, et la “ligne” indigo qui traverse la surface.

Je travaille lentement, par couches. J’ajoute, j’enlève, je laisse respirer.
Le blanc n’est pas un fond: c’est une réserve.
L’indigo n’est pas un décor: c’est ce qui déplace l’équilibre.

You can feel the scale of the piece, and the indigo “line” crossing the surface.

I work slowly, in layers. I add, remove, and leave space to breathe.
White is not a background here, it’s a reserve.
Indigo is not decoration, it’s what shifts the balance.

Un détail d’atelier, avant de montrer le reste. En résidence à la @montressoartfoundation , je travaille sur une grande pièce de ma nouvelle série d'Encre et de Lait.

Ici, on ne voit qu’un fragment: la main, la laine, la surface.
J’avance par zones, en cherchant le bon équilibre entre l’indigo et le blanc, entre ce qui marque et ce qui reste en réserve.

Here you only see a fragment: the hand, the wool, the surface.
I move in sections, looking for the right balance between indigo and white, between what leaves a mark and what is kept in reserve.

🧵 La mesure du fragile.
Une ligne suffit parfois pour tenir, pour séparer, pour relier. Je travaille l’indigo comme une trace qui apparaît doucement, sans forcer. Et la laine comme une matière qui garde la mémoire du contact.

Dans ce carrousel, deux détails: aquarelle indigo et laine teinte. Deux façons de parler de la même chose: ce qui est délicat, mais solide.

Sometimes a single line is enough to hold, to separate, to connect. I use indigo as a quiet mark that appears without forcing. And wool as a material that keeps the memory of touch.

Je ne cherche pas l’exhaustivité, mais une lecture sensible: ce qui revient, ce qui s’efface, ce qui insiste.

Visible au Royal Mansour de Casablanca, cette tapisserie entièrement réalisée à la main fait partie de la collection du Roi du Maroc. 🧵

Les Anémones est une recherche d’équilibre: une composition tenue sur un fil, entre tensions et appuis, entre lignes qui tranchent et zones qui respirent. 🟦
Les formes semblent basculer, puis se stabiliser, comme un corps qui apprend sa propre verticalité.

J’y parle d’une féminité non décorative: une présence qui se construit dans la retenue, la résistance, la douceur aussi.
Les anémones, ici, ne sont pas un motif floral. Elles deviennent une figure d’adaptation, une manière de tenir face au courant, de se déployer sans se perdre.

Les Anémones explores balance: a composition held by a thread, between tension and support, between cutting lines and breathing spaces.
The forms seem to tilt, then settle, like a body learning its own vertical stance.

It speaks of a non-decorative femininity: a presence shaped through restraint, resistance, and softness.
Here, anemones are not a floral motif. They become a figure of adaptation, a way to hold against the current, to unfold without losing oneself.

🧵Sur une plaque de métal, j’accroche une tarlatane presque invisible. Je la brode comme on écrit à voix basse.
La féminité, ici, n’est pas montrée. Elle est tenue, dissimulée, codée.
Le fil devient une manière de laisser une preuve sans s’exposer.
Ce qui se lit n’apparaît qu’en s’approchant.
Cette oeuvre est visible dans la collection de la fondation Montresso

On a metal plate, I suspend a veil of tarlatan, almost invisible.
I stitch it the way one writes in a low voice.
Femininity here is not displayed. It is held, concealed, coded.
Thread becomes a way to leave evidence without exposure.
What can be read only appears when you come closer.

✨Un empilement instable, maintenu par la douceur✨ La laine feutrée devient forme, presque minérale, traversée par l’indigo comme une veine. Sous la vitre: une masse vulnérable, rendue précieuse.
Entre protection et contrainte, le corps de la matière se tient droit.

An unstable stack, held together by softness.
Felted wool becomes form, almost mineral, crossed by indigo like a vein.
Under glass: a vulnerable mass made precious.
Between protection and constraint, the body of the material holds itself upright.

💧Une ligne indigo traverse la laine comme une décision. Je travaille la matière par couches, pressions, déplacements. Ce n’est pas une couleur, c’est une trace.
Une cartographie sans légende, faite de fibres, d’eau, de temps.

Laine brute, feutrage, indigo.
Atelier et dehors, là où le geste devient rituel.
