This was back in 2022. One of the first times I truly prayed for someone. 🥹🥹🥹

It was before Bible school. Before I understood anything about being “called.” I didn’t feel qualified. I didn’t feel spiritually deep. I was just trying to know God for myself. 😅😂

My dad @pastor_eduardo_vargas asked me to pray for a young girl who was battling depression. I remember thinking, Why me? I didn’t feel ready for that kind of responsibility. But I said yes anyway. And I’ve learned something since then. There is real power in obedience.

Not loud obedience. Not a platform obedience. Just simple, “Okay God, I will do it.”

The same areas the enemy tries to use against you, God will use to help someone else. The battle you think that is only about you is often in preparation for somebody else’s breakthrough. What was meant to break you can become the very thing that builds someone else. (Genesis 50:20)

This is what I’ve realized. There are lives connected to your life. Your obedience is not just about you. The way that you live, the way that you respond, the way you stay faithful, it affects more people than you know.

So you have to do it well. You have to be intentional.
You have to be faithful with what God has given you.

Not trying to be perfect. But faithful.

Zechariah 4:10 says, “For who has despised the day of small things?”

Do not look down on where you’re right now. Small beginnings still matter. As a teenager, I realized I could not live on my parents’ revelation forever. I knew God because they knew God. But at some point, I had to choose Him for myself.

When His presence became my priority, everything changed. Not because life became easy, but because I became rooted in Him.

1 Corinthians 15:58 says to be “steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord.”

Stay planted. Stay consistent. Stay close to God.

To any young person reading this, YOUR LIFE MATTERS. Your obedience matters. The small, unseen yes matters!!!

Matthew 5:16 says, “Let your light shine…”

Your light is needed in your generation. Serve God. Guard His presence in your life. Give the enemy no place.

Watching my oldest daughter worship and sing this morning ❤️ - sorry but not sorry @tinavargas___ let me be!

No one knows our story like God does. No one knows how broken we were, how lost we felt, or the battles we walked through as a family. But through it all, God never left our side. 🙏🏼

These are the moments I live for. Seeing my children worship Jesus and knowing where God has brought us brings tears to my eyes and gratitude to my heart. 🥹❤️

I’m so grateful to God for His faithfulness. He never gave up on us.
