Tutors Chris & Laura have been working with young people on their Guitar & Ukelele skills at Drumbrae library...next up they'll be putting these into action with some songwriting. We can't wait to hear how they get on!

If you're aged 8-18, want to learn some guitar & are free Wednesdays get in touch - there are a few spaces remaining here & at Wester Hailes Library 👍

Behind every great festival is a whole team making it happen.

Through Festival Futures, young people get hands-on experience in planning, production, marketing and more, building skills, confidence and connections along the way.

We’re excited to be starting another term of making music, having fun and getting together every Tuesday!

We kickstarted our first night back with a cover of Dolly Parton's 9-5 and what a tune to get us back into the swing of things. by @tinderbox.collective

We loved making Bitsy games with our friends at @grassmarketcommunity Project the other week! Thanks so much for your ideas, enthusiasm, and welcoming Roz along - it was great to hear people learned something new and enjoyed the game designing! by @tinderbox.collective

We’re so excited to welcome our young people back for another term of Tinderbox Sparks!

On Monday, we kicked things off at @dynamic_earth with this year’s theme, "Fire and Ice: A story of Arthurs Seat" 🔥🧊

There’s nothing quite like having the Sparks crew back together, and judging by how excited they are… they’re ready to get started! by @tinderbox.collective

Our friends and colleagues at @chitrakootcollective have been doing some amazing work organising food and essential supplies in their community, following the devastating floods in Chitrakoot and Uttar Pradesh. Our thoughts are with all those affected.

"I just got to show off my gaming prowess!"

Some feedback from a young person last week at LGBTYS - where our Roz was visiting for a digital youth workshop!

Using a MakeyMakey, arcade buttons and some old cardboard boxes, the group designed their own custom controllers and played a game with them - talking game design and accessibility along the way. by @tinderbox.collective
