This amazing looking stone is Hypersthene.
It's almost impossible to describe.
It's black but it's purple, it's shimmery but not glittery, flashy but subdued.
This one looks to me like looking into a midnight woodland, or perhaps the dark side of the moon.

I've created this using recycled sterling and fine silver and set a handmade triple moon symbol on thd top with a very chunky bail loop. (Or like the arms of the Triple moon goddess)

Here we are, another week, another gem, and how about this? A beautiful translucent Amethyst amulet.

As soon as I started this creation, somehow I just knew she wanted a big old moon 🌙
The back is open to let the viewer see in both sides and to let those energies flow.

Hello Friday peeps! Here is an unusual and aesthetically pleasing gemstone, this is Maligano Jasper. I see a bird's-eye view of a desert or maybe an old map.

This beautiful plump teardrop shaped stone is setting snugly in a bespoke setting I've created using recycled sterling and fine silver. There's a few hammered lines for detail and a gently pointed bottom. The back is open as the stone is really interesting to admire from both sides.

Now that I think we are all feeling tropical temperatures, I thought I'd bring you a cooling gemstone to dapple your toes in.
This is Shattukite.

There's not too many blue gemstones, but this one's a beauty. There are tones of tropical waters, like a reef you'd love to dive into perhaps. Turquoise, deep blue and teal.

🌙Commission - Living in Surrey, UK
This amazing amulet was a custom made piece I created for a return customer and I love the final outcome.

My lovely customer selected this amazing purple Labradorite from my stash and chose to have the central pentacle, silver balls and 2 crescent moons.

I can't tell you how happy I was with this piece, I love it, and so does her happy new owner.

💜Commission - living in the West Midlands
Some time ago, I was asked by a lovely lass in the West Midlands for a purple Labradorite. We looked through quite a few, some different shapes and different ideas. Sometimes, it's difficult to choose the right one, and sometimes it's instantaneous.

The piece had a little delay due to unforseen circumstances, and that's fine too. Life has a habit of throwing things at us when we least expect it. Car troubles, vet bills, roofs, you name it. So we postponed for a little while until such time as it was possible to proceed.

A few weeks over the original schedule, and here she is. A twisted silver frame around a beautiful stone. A beautiful deep, moody purple Labradorite, looking like a view into deep space itself.

✨️UPDATE SOLD off to the Lake District,UK
This truly looks like the summer sky trapped in a gemstone. This is a beautiful Indonesian Plume Agate doublet (backed with a resin).

I've never been into doublet or resin particularly but when I saw these, I just had to get a couple. This is the second one.

I have created a simple, smooth polished setting using recycled sterling & fine silver. The back is solid silver with a scattering of stars.

So it's like daytime sky and night-time sky.

Well, it might not be as hot in the west of Scotland as you guys in the SW or SE, but it really is very hot here today! Eugh 🥵

Here's a proper summertime gemstone. This is Larimar & she is a beautiful summer sky blue. Even prettier in person.

I've created a thick silver frame around this freeform shape, leaving a space to allow the added black patina to really frame the stone.The back is solid silver with an ancient celtic Triskelion symbol hammered on there.

Wow, if you are a fan of the more unusual colours of Labradorite, perhaps this one's for you!

This is Big Sunset! Where last night was simply, sunset. This is flashy and oh so colourful. Bright coppers and purples, tiny bits of blue and even tinier bits of gold.
And the back is just superb!!!

This is a statement piece for sure.
