Last week, I had the incredible opportunity of presenting the 10-minute version of this quick @adobelive video at #adobecreatenow Houston. My creative journey has been anything but straightforward; 23 years of twists and turns, hitting rock bottom, and wondering where I fit into the creative landscape has finally led me to a true sweet spot in my career. I'm so excited not only to continue growing but also to continue to find ways to help fellow creatives succeed!

Unfortunately, the event wasn't recorded, so if you missed my talk but want to hear the story, I'd love your ideas on how I can share it here. I could do a voice over with my slides or just post the key slides with a writeup in the description, etc.

I faced a massive fear this week - I presented my career journey at Adobe Create Now Houston to a crowd of over 300 creatives on what I would call the biggest stage that I've ever been on. There were times that I wanted to run out the door, but I obviously knew what a huge honor and opportunity this was.

While I could nitpick myself to death about the delivery, I'm so touched, grateful for, and humbled by the people who not only said that I did great, but also said my story was inspiring and even life-changing. Someone once told me that if I've made a positive impact on just one person with my talk, then it's considered a success. With that perspective, I'm so happy to know that I've inspired many.

Huge shoutout to @sydneyscommunity and Kevwe for having me and for the planning, and to @fugstrator for always being awesome - humbled to have the opportunity to share the stage with you!

Also want to thank my wife @jenmatang for calming me down when I was a nervous disaster for weeks leading up to the event.

And of course - thanks to everyone who came out to the event. I tried to talk to as many of you as I could, but if I didn't get the chance, please reach out! Y'all have definitely changed my life as much, if not more, than I've changed yours.

Another video I created for @adobelive over on TikTok! It's a very basic tip, but it is easily the most important shortcut for my workflow.

Shoutout to my friend @daren_guillory for letting me be that annoying kid hovering over his shoulder in the early days of my career!

Another incredible trip to Adobe's SF headquarters in the books - this time for the Creative AI VIP Summit! It was a whirlwind couple of days packed with new friends, thought-provoking convos, and inspiring art.

I was able to reflect back on fresh-out-of-college, junior designer Terence during one of our convos, and I can honestly say that kid would've never dreamed of being part of this amazing Adobe community.

Huge thanks to Adobe and shoutout to my new friends who I hope to get to hang out with again soon! 🙌

I'm incredibly excited to be heading back to the @adobe San Francisco campus this week to attend a VIP Community Summit! To be in a situation where I get to meet new talented creative friends from around the world and have meaningful discussions about the future of our industry is just mind blowing.

I created this fun piece from a paper sketch (swipe to the last carousel slide) to vector to @adobefirefly. I was going to go with a pretty standard script but when I accidentally switched my stroke to fill, I kinda liked what I saw and ran with it! Firefly kept generating super cool effects and I loved so many of them that I decided to post a bunch of them.

Happy Year of the Fire Horse to all who celebrate! Here's a something I created recently for our local Chinese school - the Chinese character for "horse" created by combining two different ways of writing it (swipe thru the carousel for process). The firey version is a composite of several #adobefirefly creations.
