This is my Japan journal from 2024.

Just got back from five weeks abroad, journaling, drawing, and collecting scraps akong the way. Now I'm home surrounded by half-formed notes and I know exactly what I want to do with them.

Anyone else keeping travel journals?

✨ A special commission: a custom-illustrated, hand-bound book. 📖

I created 30 unique illustrations using Reillustrate, an AI tool I trained on my own drawings. The AI learned my style → I generated, edited, and polished each piece.

Next, I designed the print layout in Figma, printed, cut, folded, stitched, and bound everything by hand.

The result? A one-of-a-kind book for my friend, and a very fun project for me. 💫

Pixels to pages ✨️ 30 digital illustrations → print → cut → pierce → stitch.

I created 30 unique digital illustrations for a friend’s girlfriend’s birthday, printed them, then brought them to life through Japanese 4-hole stab binding (yotsume toji).

There’s something special about taking pixels and turning them into a thing you can hold and treasure. Feeling grateful for this project 🫶

My trip to Japan is just around the corner, and I’m getting hyped by looking back at last year’s adventures. Can’t wait to dive into all the amazing food again. I've been stretching my stomach since Christmas to prepare, hihi. by @tinozaver

Seems like I accidentally ended up manifesting a cat and Jan’s collection of lumberjack shirts by creating this drawing years ago. 😇 by @tinozaver
