A little protection for a whole lot of history. 🩵

This 1967 Ford F-100 came to us for a fully custom PPF treatment — SunTek 10-Year Paint Protection Film on the front nose, plus custom rocker protection. We also added a white decal over the FORD lettering to make that classic tailgate pop even more. 🔥

Ella Langley on the speakers, a classic Ford in the garage, and PPF going down. 😂 Honestly, not a bad day at work.

At Tintherbud, we bring the protection directly to you. No hauling your vehicle across Edmonton, no leaving your vehicle at a shop overnight, and no unnecessary middleman.

Especially with a classic like this, there’s something pretty nice about being able to keep it safe at home in your own garage while we take care of the work.

We provide mobile PPF and automotive window tinting in Edmonton and surrounding areas, specializing in custom installations and protection for vehicles that deserve a little extra attention.

Your vehicle. Your garage. Your protection.

🔥 BIGGEST FULL HOOD I’VE EVER BACK-ROLLED… AND MY FACE SAID IT ALL 😂

This beautiful classic Ford rolled into the shop for:
✅ Full Hood PPF
✅ Full Fenders PPF
✅ Rocker Protection Film

Not every installer is willing to tackle a job like this. When you’re working with a hood this size, there’s no room for mistakes. One wrong move and you’re starting over.

I think this officially takes the title for the largest full hood I’ve ever back-rolled, and judging by the look on my face during the install… I was questioning my life choices for a minute 😂

Classic trucks like this require experience, patience, and a lot of skill to get right. Whether it’s a modern supercar, daily driver, work truck, or a fully restored classic, the goal is always the same: protect the paint and make it look like nothing was ever installed.

At Tintherbud, we install paint protection film by kit or custom bulk installs, ensuring every edge and contour is wrapped with precision.

🏢🏠 Window tinting isn’t just about making glass look darker. It’s about doing the job properly from the start.

We recently completed this commercial window tint installation for @leductrophies using @suntekfilms DRDS 25 — helping improve solar control, comfort, and privacy while giving the space a clean, professional finish.

But here’s something a lot of people don’t know:

Before we tint your windows, we come out and read the glass.

Why? Because not every piece of glass is the same. Understanding the glass type, construction, and existing seals helps us choose the right film and installation process.

This is especially important for commercial buildings and residential homes, where using the wrong film or applying the wrong installation method can increase the risk of glass stress, cracking, or seal failure.

At Tintherbud, we don’t just show up and slap film on the glass.

We measure.
We inspect.
We recommend the right film.
And we install it properly.

Because doing things the right way starts before the film ever touches the glass.

Full exterior installation using SunTek SXT 20 on this property! 🔥

This is just a teaser—we’ll be releasing a full video showing the installation process, finished results, and why this project made such a difference.

Why choose exterior window film?
✅ Reduces solar heat gain to help improve comfort
✅ Cuts glare for a better indoor environment
✅ Helps reject up to 99% of harmful UV rays, protecting flooring, furniture, and interiors from fading
✅ Improves energy efficiency by reducing cooling demand
✅ Enhances daytime privacy while maintaining natural light

For this project, we used SunTek SXT 20, a commercial-grade exterior solar control film designed for high heat rejection and long-term outdoor performance.

One of the most important steps—and one that many installers skip—is edge sealing.

After carefully caulking the film edges, we apply an edge seal. This is essential on exterior installations because it helps protect the film’s edges from water intrusion, moisture, dirt, and weather exposure. Proper edge sealing helps maximize the film’s lifespan, improves durability, and reduces the risk of premature edge lifting or failure over time.

Quality isn’t just about installing the film—it’s about ensuring it performs for years to come.

Stay tuned for the full project video coming soon! 🎥

Another project completed with SunTek DRDS 15! 🔥🪟

This time I had the opportunity to install film at my tattoo artist’s home studio. Huge thanks for trusting me with your space—it truly means a lot! 👊

If you have windows that get blasted by the sun throughout the day, architectural window film is one of the best upgrades you can make. It’s where the sun hits the hardest that you’ll notice the biggest difference.

Benefits of SunTek DRDS 15:
☀️ Rejects a significant amount of solar heat to help keep your space cooler and more comfortable.
🕶️ Reduces harsh glare, making it easier to work, relax, or enjoy your space.
🛡️ Blocks 99% of harmful UV rays to help protect furniture, flooring, artwork, and interior finishes from fading.
💪 Adds an extra layer of protection by helping hold shattered glass together if a window is accidentally broken.
💡 Lets in natural light while improving overall comfort.
💰 Can help improve energy efficiency by reducing the strain on your air conditioning.

Whether it’s your home, home studio, or business, window film is an investment you’ll notice every sunny day.
