A customer came into the shop because he could barely see out of his windows — especially at night. He said his tint felt way too dark… so we grabbed the tint meter and tested it.

It metered at 2% VLT 😳

For reference, most legal limits for front windows are around 20–35% depending on the state (Not NY 🤦‍♂️)At 2%, visibility drops dramatically — especially in low light conditions.

We removed the old window film, restored proper visibility, and got him back on the road safely. Huge difference immediately.

Not all tint jobs are created equal. Proper installation, correct film selection, and staying within legal limits matter.

If your tint feels too dark or unsafe, stop by and we’ll meter it for you.

Bro doesn’t want privacy… he wants to disappear. 🥷🏽

At this point, just paint the windows black. 😭
