six cities, two abandoned careers, one husband who agreed to be my teacher (tormentor?) and a lot of crying over a to-do list. a few things that didn’t fit into the video: I started this account by filming one video as a joke, with no plan whatsoever - that’s the entire origin story. I also didn’t give up on cosmetology as easily as the video makes it sound. I kept trying to make it work for a while. and before I properly started coding I gave web design a shot, and I knew within about ten minutes that it was never going to be my thing. about the languages, since the video only hints at them: on top of German, my degree came with compulsory Latin, and I took Serbian as an elective. I’d also taken Arabic courses before that, because at some point I wanted to study international relations. then I tried to pick up the language of every country I moved to. I dropped almost all of them, which is apparently my whole personality :) I read a lot, mostly classics, and my idea of relaxing after work is a documentary about the First or Second World War, or true crime, ideally with a beer, which is a slightly concerning combination when you write it out like this. I’m obsessed with history in general, so museums are my happy place, I can spend three hours in one and not notice. I love travelling, which is a funny thing to say when a good half of my moving around wasn’t exactly voluntary. I used to be a proper gym rat. now I just work out at home 🦧 if you’re currently learning something and waiting to feel passionate about it, don’t panic! sometimes the love shows up later, after the crying. mine did. anyway, now you know slightly more about me than you did five minutes ago. if you want to know more than that, you’ll have to ask. by @tiny.kiri
