Under heavy swarms of cicada drone and spectral
hum, the story of Night Rider opens onto a
motorcycle merging with a dream-smudged desert
landscape. It's a scene that reads part sci-fi pulp.
part Wild West fantasy, and one that's both an
imaginary fact and a real fiction for Slowfoam,
who spent their teens in the Sonoran Desert-itself
a haze of natural marvels and spiritual malaise,
deep-seeded mysticism and cookie-cutter mania.

It's to this psychosocial ground that they return on
an album that lands somewhere in the realm of
sonic autofiction. As is often the case with memory,
the journey taken roams in wide spirals, cycling
through a wilderness of images and impressions
that continually twist and invert. The unconscious
rewinds into a new rhythm. A footprint in the sand
leaves its indent in the clouds. Our motorcycle
must ride backwards if it's to reach the horizon.

Slowfoam's hybrid storytelling similarly wefts time
and warps space as now collapses into then, water
into stone, abyss into oasis, heaven into home.
Sense slips into the somatic, and back again, an
experience written into the woozy drama of Patrick
Shiroishi's saxophone, and carried by an ecosystem
of sonic forces that swoon and slither and sway
into and out of the body.

At once composer, narrator, and alchemised echo
of their own self-worlding, Slowfoam playfully
entangles a quantum dialogue for eternity,
overlaying palimpsests of "what was..." with poetic
reconstructions engraved into the red rock of
"...what if?"

"Four years after his last full-length release,
Lumtz returns with an instrumental album that
feels less like a traditional record and more like
sifting through someone's backpack, journals,
and photographs. To press play is to quietly step
into someone's inner world. Lumtz's new project.
Tesoros, is a 16-track collection built from field
recordings, intimate reflections, and fleeting
moments gathered between 2023 and 2025. The
result is a deeply meditative listening experience
that unfolds with the patience of a long walk.
For Lumtz, who hails from the mountainous
lakeside city of Bariloche, Argentina, the album
is less about constructing a fictional atmosphere
and more about documenting life as it happens.
In many ways, Tesoros feels like being a quiet
observer in the studio: watching sounds
accumulate while witnessing an artist process
emotion in real time. It is an album that grows
slowly, revealing layers through subtle textures,

This conceptual album i divded ito Sce A
(Tokyo) and Side B (New York), utilizing field
recordings captured in each location. The ceramic
images featured on LP jacket is the work of Namiko
Ishikawa (NamipotNYC).
On this record, he incorporates Ambient,
Downtempo, Trip-hop, and Dub-bringing to life
the specific sounds currently resonating in his mind
and his original roots.
Since the pandemic, he has been traveling and
capturing "environmental sounds" through field
recordings, which served as the primary inspiration
for this record. Side A features tracks inspired by
the atmosphere of Tokyo, including recordings
from streets, parks near his home in Japan. Side
B explores New York, incorporating the sounds of
Brooklyn and Manhattan, as well as the chirping of
insects recorded in the New York mountains.
While the album remains centered on analog
synthesizers and vinyl samples, he has
introduced analog drum machines and glitch
noise to craft the groove. Unlike his previous work,
this release brings prominent bass lines and added
more Dub elements to the forefront. His primary
focus for this project was expressing a sense of
"space" and "air" through the meticulous use of
reverb and delay.
Throughout the album, he invites the listener
to imagine the unique "local atmosphere" he

With Heat, Société Étrange extends its work
around repetition, groove and cyclic structures,
shaping an instrumental music that is both
hypnotic and enveloping. Without any radical
shift, the Lyon-based trio subtly moves towards
more melodic and more cinematic forms, revealing
warmer, more textured and sometimes more
luminous atmospheres.
Formed by Antoine Bellini (electronics), Romain
Hervault (bass) and Jonathan Grandcollot (drums)，
Société Étrange builds here a more diffuse trance,
driven by generally slower tempos than on Chance
Organic drums interact with drum machines and
layers of synthesizers, while the bass carries both
pulse and melodic lines. The music breathes more,
leaving space for silences and micro-variations, and
unfolds as an immersive listening experience.
With Heat, the band explores a strange form of
instrumental pop, without formats or choruses.
nourished by an imaginary close to soundtracks
and narrative electronic music. A warm and
hypnotic album, where repetition becomes texture,
tension turns into atmosphere, and each track

Juliana Kaiser's debut EP through Puddle is an ode
to the 'Río de La Plata' with all of its sociopolitical &
environmental contradictions. On it, field recordings
from the river and its surrounding areas intertwine
with subtle and minimalistic synth lines creating
a gentle narrative where the listener is free to
navigate the space and complete the landscape

"Drum grooves left on the disk drive of an old
SP1200, a rusted spring reverb and crates of
dusty records... All boxed up in a distant relative's
workshop. Command D uncovers the first tracks in
a series of forgotten gems by a craftsman inspired
by the raw style of 90's house and techno.
On a mission to keep dancefloors moving, his
productions travelled from city to city with deejays
carrying the sound. This is the work of an alchemist
with the freedom to embrace imperfection and find
comfort in tradition. With no concern for passing
trends, The Vibesmith continued at the forge.
