So this is Ted and hopefully that's his shame face.

⚠️ GRAPHIC CONTENT WARNING ⚠️ Do not swipe if you don't want to see pics or videos of medical procedures.

So yesterday 8/6/25 Ted went in for routine neutering but the special boy he is turned it into a $4,000 ER Vet visit.

After surgery the vet gave him a cone and used gauze to secure the cone. We get home and I put him in a small crate and left him closed off in my kitchen away from everyone for some quiet time while I set up a recovery space for him. I go out to get him and his cone is laying in the corner of the crate and the gauze completely gone. This idiot ATE it!! The vet was closed at that point as pickup was end of day so I called the emergency vet recommended on the recording and off we went.

They tried inducing vomiting but that didn't work so next was endoscopy and game of kitty claw machine. After about 6 hours in the ER all the gauze was out. Luckily no surgery needed but still a hefty unexpected vet bill.

I don't expect anything as he's my responsibility and I'm not entitled to anyone's help but I did set up a GoFundMe to help with bill payments, link in bio.

Ted is a turd.

Thank you to all the wonderful ladies at VEG who helped with Ted ❤️

I never realized until recently that Sir Ted Andrew Sentinel was born on dock 13 and that's where he was abandoned and it just makes sense why he is the way he is... 😂 by @tinybulldoesnails

When God made me he grinned and said "this'll be fun".

I couldn't have found a better shirt for him and I need about 1000 of them so he can wear it for the rest of his life 🤣

He was an exceptionally well behaved boy on Mother's day. Didn't bite me once or act up in any way. I'd like to think that he understands and it was on purpose but I know it was just a fluke 😅 Still appreciated it.
