This year I decided to make some special edition oatmeal bowls for Oatmeal Fest this Saturday! They reference the flier color for this year, there are 4 of each bowl and 5 of the mugs! Only one color-way for the mugs oops sorryyyyyy but they’re cute so 🤷‍♀️

If you eat anything besides oatmeal in these bowls I will hunt you down they are for NOTHING ELSE!!!😡

Decided to keep the insane babble Hannah and I were doing because I think it’s funny. I can’t remember what the acct is for the person who made the video we were referencing but it’s pretty obvious if you know it lol 🤠 Plus witch cackle by @tinycloudceramics

I think I finally figured out the fall design for this year? Nothing has been really sparking my interest, I was thinking ginko leaves as a possibility but tbh it didn’t keep me invested while I was working on it.

I have high hopes for this belladonna, maybe might add a spider or 2 to up the spooky a smidge on some of the things. Maybe add in a web?

A whole slew of preview pics for the tomato drop, which by the way is now

TOMORROW! SEPTEMBER 8th AT 8PM EST!!!

Scroll through for a few more deets on each piece!

Larger plate, $85

Another plate but this one has silly guys on it :)

Smaller plate! $65

Another smaller plate, I like the ones with less tomatoes a lot! I feel like they have a better flow to the design.

A third smaller plate! Two guys havin a good time!

The 4th and final plate, many a little guys upon it.

This update is also going to have 3 bigger bowls than I usually do! I think they’d be considered a serving bowl, but they’re on the smaller side for that. For sure good for salads!

This one has a swoop of tomatoes down one side of the interior and will be $120

The second big bowl has these guys in it, hangin out and having fun!

Third bowl is coated in tomatoes on the outside, with a few leaves cresting the rim.

There’s gonna be smaller bowls too! They’re $50 a piece

These will have silly guys too! There are 4 silly and 4 reg, and one odd man out.

This is the odd man out! It has a simple red stipe on the outside, similar to that big bowl from a couple slides ago.

And of course: mugs!!! $65 a piece, and tbh with how much work these were I probably had ought to raise my prices but I don’t want to do that mental work rn.

There will be 12 silly guys and 12 normal tomato mugs, I’m only doing one listing for each so it’s a fun surprise what faces and arrangement of the tomatoes you wind up with! :)

Ok thanks for scrolling through! I hope the algo likes that I used its new multi caption thingie!

Reminder that the drop will be Tuesday 9/8 at 8pm EST

Oops oops oops bad time management, here’s what I did today! I tend to get my pieces pretty dusty while handling them for painting, so doing a nice wet wipe before glazing is a must. I’ll let these boys dry out for 12-24 hours before they get a dip and then another period of time to dry again before going in the kiln.

I’ll make a graphic and a better post about it in the morning, but the tomato release is being delayed because of the earlier referenced time management skills 🥴 Plus, big kiln is getting new elements on Saturday so I might as well just do one big glaze rather than several smalls!

I’m thinking the new date will be Monday or Tuesday, def in the evening, what do y’all think? by @tinycloudceramics

🍅tomato tomato tomato tomato🍅

I’m always surprised by how long painting takes when I record it, in my mind this takes maybe 15 seconds?

Silly guy mugs + 3 Big Bowl are going into a little bisque today (after I paint them lmao), hopefully my self imposed deadline of Friday doesn’t come back to bite me!!!

*POSTPONED DUE TO KILN TROUBLE AND POOR TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS!!!*

🍅Hieeee a website update is coming soon🍅

I’m working on a bunch of tomato stuff! Everyone seemed so jazzed about it at Lakewood arts fest this year, so I figured I ought to give some internet people a chance to grab a piece or two as well.

Keep an eye out, I’ll be posting some more previews and some process videos maybe too? As well as some pricing so y’all will know what to expect

🌿♥️I hope everyone has been having a nice summer in spite of the everything all the time♥️🌿 by @tinycloudceramics
