꒰ᐢ. .ᐢ꒱ I’ve been doodling my twst and pirate oc a lot lately ! First slide is my twisted oc after he transferred to Pomefiore and finally got to explore fashion and what he likes ! I modified the uniform a bit, with an added mamianqun (马面裙 -> chinese pleated skirt), more layers to emphasise a more hanfu style and a jade ornament ! I think he looks absolutely adorable T^T
.
Second oc is Rakh’lan (not sure of the translation, but should mean cat), a pirate oc based of an old oc of mine ! I may or may not have created him solely to ship myself with @zucker_hem ‘s pirate oc 🤭 He also inspired by a black, white and golden calico cat >:3

Yap Part :

꒰ᐢ. .ᐢ꒱ Final design for undercover Moustache (胡子) ! I like the idea that since he’s a dragon, he feels very mighty and wouldn’t want to hide all his defining features (pointy ears, fangs and eyes), which explains why his disguise ins’t perfect. But he’s really used to traveling/investigating in the mortal realm, so it’s fine.
He wears pretty ample clothes, to allow movements and all + wears the assign colour of Tang Lang’s (螳螂） disciples just to piss him off -

︶꒷꒦︶ ๋࣭ ⭑ ꒷꒦︶꒷꒦︶ ๋ ࣭ ⭑꒷꒦

꒰ᐢ. .ᐢ꒱ I really like their dynamic so imma explain it :

Moustache was born a divinity, as a dragon serving the gods in Heaven. He’s sent to the mortal realm to investigate matters around ghosts, monsters and cultivation sects. Tang Lang also oughts to help since he’s a god living in the mortal realm as a sect leader. Though Tang Lang is rarely willing and Moustache usually has to force him -
Which usually ends up in classical Feng Xin/Mu Qing behaviour for my dear Heaven’s Officials Blessing readers.

╰┈➤ 𐔌 . ⋮ More of Moustache (here its his old design) and Tang Lang’s dynamic .ᐟ 🐉 ₊ ꒱

︶꒷꒦︶ ๋࣭ ⭑ ꒷꒦︶꒷꒦︶ ๋ ࣭ ⭑꒷꒦

꒰ᐢ. .ᐢ꒱ When he met the newly appointed medicine god Tang Lang, he kinda fell in love at first sight ~
Except it’s not love but more like when you find an object absolutely perfect and want to own it -
Moustache is a dragon and hence he likes shiny/pretty things, including Tang Lang, so he wants to own him like a treasure piece.

Obviously Tang Lang isn’t willing and finds Moustache utterly annoying, so he tries to avoid him as much as possible. Moustache in return tries to woe him by giving him presents. It’s not a rare sight to see an ostentatious clothed man enter the medicine sect asking to see the leader, his arms full of presents. And even more common to see the sect leader fleeing while giving orders to burn all the presents -

Klarheit, all mighty and grand capital of the Empire, home of the Sun’s heirs. The second prince they say, bore the features of those blessed by the Moon. Hence was he named after the God.

If being unique was his curse, then he would take matters into his own hands and mark history. For he must have been blessed for a reason, right ? Otherwise, why hasn’t the Sun recognised him as her heir ?

He keeps people at hand, while ultimately never giving himself away. Every masquerade but a bigger stage for his ever growing audience. Only adoration can satisfy a thirst like self loathing.
