If you ever have wondered why photographers charge so much - you’re paying for quality and knowledge in how to create the deliverables. You absolutely get what you pay for, I would pay $200+ for the guarantee that someone can capture my vision in 10 minutes ABSOLUTELY.

(Before y’all come for me, I am an advocate of supporting other local photographers for my son’s and my portraits… and if you’ve followed me long enough, you’ve seen my last set before Mother’s Day.)

Our basic camera setup is expensive enough to start out with but once you add in studio rentals, lighting, props, etc. Then how to set them up/break them down, align them to the concept while using other equipment etc. In a limited amount of time 🥴

There are so many factors in bringing someone’s vision to life and I’m so so glad at the trust in my ability to execute and shout out to @peerspace for having such an easy to use platform to rent out studios all over the country - makes it really feel like the world is my oyster 🥹🙏🏽 more to come soon ~

nothing like having a newborn to remind us that time together is important and needed…
