I think it’s time for us to meet 👋🏼

My name is Or Boterkooper Levy. I’m 28 years old and I have a multicultural mixed family myself.
I am an Israeli living in Cyprus with my Dutch husband.
Ten months ago, I became a mother to our Tiny Mixie baby boy 🤍

When we traveled to visit our families in both countries, we searched for books to support our bilingual journey, but something was missing. I kept thinking:
Why isn’t there one book that brings both languages together? Even more than that - why isn’t there a book that truly reflects mixed families like ours?

Motherhood changed me. It inspired me to create something meaningful. something that would help my son see our family story as Something to be proud of, while naturally learning both Hebrew and Dutch.

A few months later, I gave birth to something new - a book called “Two Worlds One Family”.
This book is more than a story, it sends a message to the world. A reminder that every mixed family is special and deserve to be celebrated.
This book will make you feel seen, understood and proud of your own story, in both of your mother tongues and live languages.

I hope is that this book, and my family, will inspire families around the world to embrace what makes them so unique 💌

1-1 introduction to bilingualism 🤍
