✨ I still can’t quite believe this… ✨ Last night I was awarded Nottingham’s Most Loved Activity Leader for Toddlers & Preschoolers at the Nottingham Baby & Toddler Awards 2026 🏆 When they read out my name… I actually burst into tears. I was so shocked and overwhelmed. Running TinyTalk Nottingham West means so much to me. Every week I get to sing, sign, laugh and share special moments with the most wonderful families and their little ones. Watching your babies grow in confidence, start signing, and seeing those little personalities shine is honestly the best job in the world. But the thing that makes this award so special is that it comes from you, the families who come to class, who nominated and voted. That means more than I can put into words. So from the bottom of my heart… thank you 💜 Thank you for trusting me with your little ones. Thank you for coming along each week. Thank you for supporting my small local business. A big thank you as well to Rebekah and the Nottingham Baby & Toddler Community for organising such a lovely event and for everything you do to support local baby and toddler businesses. @nottinghambabytoddlercommunity And a huge shout out to all the amazing finalists, Nottingham is full of brilliant, inspiring and just amazing people doing wonderful things for families and it was such an honour to be alongside you all. I feel incredibly lucky to be part of this lovely community. Laura xxx by @tinytalk_nottinghamwest

💜 "The highlight of our week!" Comments like this mean the world to me. TinyTalk is about so much more than learning signs. It's a weekly opportunity to slow down, spend quality time together and build your little one's communication before speech. Watching families grow in confidence week after week is one of my favourite parts of what I do. 🌞 There's still time to join our final Summer Specials before our full Autumn Term begins in September. Hi, I'm Laura, your local TinyTalk baby signing teacher, with over 5 years' experience using everyday BSL to support communication before speech. 📍 Classes in Wollaton & Toton this summer 🍂 Autumn Term starts in September in Beeston, Wollaton & Toton 👉 Book here: www.bookwhen.com/ttnottinghamwest #TinyTalk #TinyTalkNottinghamWest #BabySigning #ToddlerTalking #NottinghamMums #NG8 #NG9 #BabyClassesNottingham #TinyTalkMagic by @tinytalk_nottinghamwest
One small signing tip: make sure your baby can see you! 👀 It sounds obvious, but during a busy day it is easy to make a sign while your little one is looking somewhere else. Move into their line of sight, say the word and make the sign clearly. Give them a moment to notice your face and hands. 🙌 You do not need to ask them to copy. A look, smile or movement can be their way of responding. Try it during something they already enjoy, so signing becomes part of a shared moment. 💜 Where do you find it easiest to catch your baby’s attention? ✨ by @tinytalk_nottinghamwest
The TinyTalk bags are coming back out… we’re back this week! 💜 I’m looking forward to seeing familiar faces, welcoming new families and finding out what your little ones have been up to over the break. If you’re joining us for the first time, you don’t need to know any signs or worry about remembering everything. I’ll demonstrate and explain as we go, and you can join in at your own pace. After over 6 years of teaching, that first class back still makes me smile. There’s something lovely about bringing everyone together again. 🥰 Who’s ready for their TinyTalk catch up and a hot drink? ☕️ #TinyTalk #TinyTalkNottinghamWest #BabySigning #ToddlerTalking by @tinytalk_nottinghamwest

Reasons you SHOULD NOT come to my TinyTalk classes… 👀😂 Swipe through before you book. You might accidentally make a new parent friend, learn some useful signs or even have a good time! And then there’s the hot drink and biscuit. Terrible, really. ☕️ If that all sounds like your kind of thing, I’d love to welcome you! We enjoy songs, everyday BSL signs and playful activities together, followed by time for your little one to explore the toys while you have a chat. 💜 “You have been such a ray of sunshine, even on the toughest of days.” 💜 There’s nothing quite like receiving a message like this from a TinyTalk family. 🥹 Our sessions are about so much more than learning signs. They’re about creating a little community where new mums can feel supported, babies can learn and explore, and everyone can enjoy those precious moments together. Knowing that our sessions have made such a difference to a family, and that the memories, songs, signs and friendships will stay with them, means the absolute world. 💜 Thank you so much for these incredibly kind words. 🥰 “Never underestimate just how much your sessions mean to new mums and how much babies love and learn so much from them.” This is exactly why we do what we do. 💜 #TinyTalk #TinyTalkNottinghamWest #BabySigning #BabyClasses #BabyGroups #NottinghamMums #NottinghamBabies #NewMums #BabySignLanguage #NottinghamWest by @tinytalk_nottinghamwest
💜 Reviews like this mean so much to me! 💜 “Thank you so much for everything. We have loved classes & have learnt so much 😊 You are an amazing teacher & we are so grateful 😊” One of the loveliest parts of teaching TinyTalk is getting to know families week after week and watching their little ones grow, develop and start communicating in their own way. 🥰 So receiving messages like this at the end of their TinyTalk journey really does mean a lot. I always hope families leave my classes having learnt plenty of useful signs, but also with lots of happy memories from our time together. 💜 If you’d like to start your own TinyTalk journey, Half Term 2 begins in November and bookings are open now! 📍 Beeston 📍 Wollaton 📍 Toton 🔗 www.bookwhen.com/ttnottinghamwest #TinyTalk #TinyTalkNottinghamWest #BabySigning #ToddlerTalking #NottinghamMums #BabyClassesNottingham #ToddlerClassesNottingham #Beeston #Wollaton #Toton by @tinytalk_nottinghamwest
