In case you missed it, Tiny Tomato Ceramics is part of the 2026 Pittsburgh Potters Tour, November 21–22! There are a total of 22 studios, 50 guest artists, and a whole weekend of handmade pottery you can buy direct from the makers!

My first @reginaldscoffee × @southartspittsburgh Halloween Party as a vendor! Such a wonderful evening filled with friendly spooks, ghould vibes and ghostie loving folks! 👻

The music was necessary for slide number 6. I didn't even realize until I watched the video later 😱😅... thank you for showing up Bethel Park!!!

I'll be coming back from a quick trip to Austria, spending time with the @the.ceramic.school again and should have some really special pieces 💖 along with a slew of tiny holiday houses, ornaments, + little gifts galore!

For folks outside the South Hills, @reginaldscoffee is below my studio if you are planning your caffeine stops on the route 😉 and... @familydeli_bethelpark is open Saturday's, as well as @bethelbakery. This year, these ghosts feel like a quiet reminder: we all carry things from our past that are invisible to the rest of the world. Coming home to the news cycle around the Cornell case and Jane Doe has been heavy... stirring up emotions around abuses of power and boundary violations for so many, including myself.

It's something I have carried, questioned and blamed myself for since I was 19. And now I find myself replaying the scenario in my head like it was yesterday. Wishing I had the courage to speak up back then like Jane Doe... ALL the Jane Does sharing their stories.

I really struggle to comprehend that we live in a time where this is happening on such a large scale and somehow men's lives being ruined is the worry... like it was a minor error in judgement? Like what the actual fuck. These excuses of human beings get to ruin actual lives and carry on with theirs, unscathed. Unbothered. It's honestly sickening on so many levels.

Women speaking their truths, rallying together, reminds me of how important it is that we don't carry the weight of these painful experiences alone. We NEED to be heard. Something must change. Our daughters, nieces, sisters, young women, deserve that.

During October, 10% of all online & in person Tiny Tomato sales will be donated to local resource, PAAR (Pittsburgh Action Against Rape). PAAR provides free, confidential therapy, crisis support, and advocacy.

🏺🇦🇹♥️ Officially back from a month in Austria, spending most of my time in Feldkirchen in Kärnten, with the @the.ceramic.school , as a participant in their Founders Crew program (more information on their website!)

I had no idea what to expect to be honest, but I knew that I would be surrounded by folks who I had something in common with... a love for clay. That was enough for me to take the trip.

One of my favorite parts of exploring somewhere new is taking walks, taking every single view in, and being grateful to be experiencing that moment. Watching the clouds roll by, saying hi to every animal ~ telling them they're pretty 😅, and welcoming apples gifted from strangers.

Not knowing the language didn't stop me from making connections with people. And, I made so many new forever friends as a part of the experience.

Normally after a few weeks, I'd be ready to head home but this was the first time, it was hard to leave. I couldn't wait to be reunited with the husband and dogs, but I felt like I was just getting started finding myself in the wonderful wide world of ceramics (hello rakuuuu, I love you).

So here's some of the in-between-moments while exploring the town of Feldkirchen with the song I had on repeat. Always remember to look up... just a gentle reminder that having your head in the clouds isn't such a bad place to be... ☁️😉

Let there be CLAY-KE! 😅🎂

Some cohort members decided it was time to try out piping with slip, with cake decorating tips!

@poterie_my made the perfect slip from bone-dry clay and gave us some great pointers. We had fun experimenting with all the different textures! Maybe there will have to be a piping with clay 2.0?!... 😁 taken in Feldkirchen, Kärnten, Austria by @tinytomatoceramics
