What a God indeed

With delight conference coming up, I wanted to share a little story that I hope helps at least one more person. I was blessed with a family that allowed me to grow up in the church. They’d drop me and my sister off every Sunday and Wednesday religiously. I never missed church unless I was sick (I’d sometimes even go then). I got to know God and love Him from an early age. I got baptized when I was 10 (best decision ever!), but that’s not where this ends. I grew up like all kids do. I sadly stopped attending church as often and put God in the back of my mind. I came and left middle school. I experienced all of high school. Never attending church or reading my bible. Yet, even through that time up into high school and beginning of college where my heart wasn’t on fire for Jesus, He never forsaken me. The second I started regularly attending church again, God was there (never left) He was waiting for me! He continued blessing me even in the times where I wasn’t worshipping him and living that Christ centered life (because He never stopped loving me). Even after I let a mountain of sin fill my life. Once I let God be the center of my attention again, He gave me a space to open up about my struggle staying connected to Him (delight). And gave me an amazing group of strong God fearing women! I know I never make posts like this but I just want you to know that no matter where you are in your life, God has not forsaken you. No matter what you have done in your life time, you are never “too far gone” to experience the love of Christ Jesus.

It shows us all through the bible what God really means when he says “I will never leave you nor forsake you”. God has a plan for your life. Be patient and trust in him that all will be taken care of in His time. I love you and I know God loves you even that much more. by @tionacarroll

Det har gått et år allerede? Det er så sprøtt for meg å tenke på hvor alt startet til hvor vi er nå. Så sjenerte som vi var i begynnelsen, er jeg så glad for at vi kom over det og bare hadde den ene samtalen som startet alt dette. Hver morsomme fakta jeg lærer om deg får meg til å falle enda hardere. Du gjør det så lett for meg å elske. Jeg vet at vi nylig har hatt noen prøvelser mellom oss. Jeg vet at ting ikke alltid har vært lett for deg. Jeg vet at det er på grunn av meg. Jeg vil bare at du skal vite hvor mye det betyr for meg at du holder ut gjennom alt det jeg er. Du er så fantastisk, så talentfull, så dedikert og så snill. Jeg takker Gud hver eneste dag for at han har satt deg i livet mitt. Du har gjort livet 100 ganger bedre uten å engang prøve.
