When I left my full-time job, I had a few people tell me I was crazy. I was good at what I did and I was getting seats at all the right tables. It would’ve been a comfortable job for a few more years before switching to a different sport or getting a new title.

But I thought to myself: I’m 25, we don’t have kids yet, I already have a strong portfolio of clients, I’ve got a talent for content marketing and a hunger to WORK. If there’s any time to go all in on myself, wouldn’t it be right now?

Thank you so much to every client, event and project I’ve worked with the last 5 months. I’ve loved pouring my heart into your brands as if they were my own. That’s the real beauty of working for your own dream.

I’m only getting started.

I get asked all the time “how do you know what to capture?” when shooting events.

And I wish I had a technical answer. Or a subject at uni I could point to. But honestly, I just focus on noticing the small details as much as possible.

I love organic content because it really makes you feel like you’re there. Small details unpolished that tell a story. Dreamy!

The 2026 SQBD Secondary All Schools was ELITE 🔥

Thanks to all the schools, referees, teachers and staff for helping make the past 2 days so fun. Seeing the kids enjoying sport together is what these events are all about for us!

Thank you again to hosts @goldcoasttouch for keeping the fields looking sharp and the canteen full.

The party doesn’t stop there though. We’ve got Primary All Schools up next Tuesday 28 July. See you there 🏈
