I had a blast marching with Supervisor @mattdorseysf in the San Francisco Pride Parade yesterday. The crowd loved celebrating LBGTQ leaders. I cant think of a better embodiment of Pride than having our community in positions of power and authority.

Matt has been a fresh face at the Board of Supervisors. He is very supportive of our business efforts and as a fellow sober gay man, gives a fresh perspective to the City’s often insane policies toward drug addiction and treatment. by @tisfraley

My glamazon baby getting her Middle School diploma from @therealdebbieallen and Principal Hawkins. Congrats Kiki! We are so proud of you.

I have been weepy all week. Kiki’s three years at the Debbie Allen Middle School has been such an incredible experience. It is sad to see her move on. The teachers, administrators, students and parents are all incredible. It is a wonderful magical place that Ms. Allen has created. by @tisfraley

Eric’s passing cuts deep. Such a magnetic personality. I believe the year of this pic was 2015 at the @glaad Media Awards. Bill Clinton was receiving an award that night, yet @realericdane and @rebeccagayheartdane stole the red carpet.

Eric was taken from us way too soon. Just last March we were body surfing with our girls in Playa del Carmen. The progression of the disease was staggering. I am grateful for all the work he did bringing awareness to ALS. I am sure that wasn’t easy for a man with so much pride and dignity.

Praying for his wonderful family. May they find peace during this challenging time. by @tisfraley

I just charted the University of Michigan’s Consumer Confidence Index with their annual data. The 2025 result was 57.6, the lowest year in the Index’s 65 year history. Astonishing. Why are no news outlets discussing this?

My lewk for the October No Kings March was inspired by my mother-in-law, who was a student at Shaw University in Raleigh during the Woolworth lunch counter sit-ins in the 60s. She told me the protest organizers said you should always show up in your Sunday Best. Presumably they figured you would be taken more seriously dressed to the nines. I tried my best not to look like a Hamas-loving Antifa inspired anti patriot. How did I do? by @tisfraley

Regardless of whether it is expected or not. I am not sure anything can fully prepare someone for the passing of their Dad. My Dad transitioned last Thursday very peacefully at home holding hands with my brother Mike and step-mother Bev.

As many people may know, my Dad had very advanced Alzheimers. I am incredibly grateful for my step-mother @grandmagreat1 who cared for him at home until his last day. What a gift to us all.

My Dad is one of the kindest men I know. I won the jackpot in that regard. When I trashed one of his cars four days after I got my license, I woke him up to tell him. He asked, “Are you OK? Which car were you driving? …and rolled over and went back to sleep.

Most men born in the 1940s would not be thrilled with the idea of their son marrying a man…especially a man of another race. Dad loved Victor. We gave our parents the opportunity to say something at our wedding. Dad carefully prepared a speech, but during the ceremony he was so overwhelmed with tears of joy that my step mother had to step in and read it for him.
