Just received the sweetest call from my Moonshine Lilhorns and these photos instantly came to my mind!! These 3 are BY FAR my biggest and proudest accomplishments!! 🥺Daddy, yesterday you left this world, and my heart is heavy in a way I can’t fully describe. What I’m choosing to hold onto are the moments we shared — the laughter and tears, the comfort of your presence that made me feel like your little girl even when I had my own children already🧑‍🍼. And, ALL the many years when our bond was SO strong that there wasn't anything you didn't know about me or me about you. You were 100% the funniest person I knew, and so much of my pride is from the way you could make a whole room crack up.

All of those memories are mine to keep, and they’re what I’ll carry forever.

Life didn’t unfold the way either of us hoped recently. In these last years, distance and silence grew between us. I missed you Daddy. Just because I am strong didn't mean I didn't need you. 🥺 Even with all of that, I know you loved me, and you knew I loved you. Underneath everything, that was REAL, and that’s what I’m holding closest to my heart.

Your faith was such a big part of who you were, and it shaped me more than you realized — the belief that even in the hardest moments, we’re held by something bigger than ourselves. I’m grateful you planted that in me.
