$I remember vividly the phone call from Amp Fiddler to ask me if I would record BASS for the Dames Brown album. Of course I said YES and an MP3 was sent. The syncopation\/drive of the music alongside the urgency of Teresa, Athena and LaRae’s vocal performance, told me everything I needed to contribute: a dash of Detroit House, a pinch of gospel, mixed with a hint of rock for some grit. What resulted was the song “This Time” available on their debut album “Take Me As I Am” released January 21, 2026 on Defected Records.
