Whether I'm on stage, in the photo pit or in front of my PC writing about what I saw at live shows, music is always front and center. 📷

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It's been another busy year... and I wouldn't want it any either way. Some photo dreams finally came true, others are patiently waiting to see what 2026 will bring.

I worked a lot, trying my best to be everywhere I was requested to go and everywhere I wanted to be on top of that. 2025 was rich with music and experiences, I'm also very happy I finally found room for more rock photography in my life.

A huge thank you to all the artists that invited me over, to all the promoters that welcomed me to their shows, to @hellfestopenair , @rockstadtextremefest.official and @artmaniafestival.official for once again letting me do what I love within their holy grounds. Grateful to have witnessed a lot of special performances at the @therubysessions too. It's been a good year.

Last but by no means least, a billion thanks to @goldenplec and @revistasunete for giving my "madness" room to shine!

There's simply not enough room for all the photos I love from 2025, but if there has to be a small recap - as one does this time of year - here's part two. Happy Holidays!

Another edition of @artmaniafestival.official is over.

Always in the spectacular Large Square of Sibiu, always excellent taste in curating a lineup that delivers.

Catch a full festival review and more photos on Sunete soon. For now, here's a taste.

Another chapter in the storied adventure of @nightwish is ending. I'm a fan of @floor_jansen_official ever since her After Forever days and I was extremely happy to see her take the spotlight with Holopainen & company. It seemed like the natural, best decision at the time and the last 13 years have been a treasure trove of monumental performances.

At times I believed Floor's voice can do much more than what is laid in front of her on the music sheet and to be honest I'm quite sad we won't get to hear any more challenges from Tuomas on that front.

I trust this decision was indeed mutual and the best for all parties & I'm looking forward to see what the future holds for both her and the band. Bring on new music! 🤘

I sadly still don't have access to the technology that would allow me to be everywhere I want where I want it - I would have most certainly chosen to be in @expiratclub the other day for @implantpentrurefuz 's undoubtedly excellent show / vinyl launch.

These guys are always flawless live and whenever @laura_brat joins them, sparks fly even higher. Very happy to have had the chance to document this at @rockstadtfest.official earlier this summer - here's to many more shows (and maybe yours truly around to 📸🤘)

Time to switch to some death metal in my daily playlist. @necrotted were a very pleasant surprise at @rockstadtfest.official and I'd certainly love to hear (and 📷) more if their travels ever bring them to Ireland. Nicely done! 🤘

Between @hellfestopenair and @rockstadtfest.official , I am definitely a fan of @psychonautband . Loved the energy, the dedication to perform flawlessly in a weather that was frankly not even a little bit conducive for live music. It certainly helps that their catalogue is excellent. I hope you lend these guys your ears and we'll meet again soon, perhaps in more bearable circumstances. 🤘

There's something about seeing @willghould in full vampire mode with a couple thousand people screaming back at him that just hits different this close to Dracula's castle.

I've never seen @creepercult live until @rockstadtfest.official and I have to say Sanguivore songs sound even bigger live than I expected based on the records. It was a great first meeting and I'm honestly looking forward to new adventures and songs.

The story of @nev3rmoreofficial continues next year with a headliner European tour that will, luckily for yours truly, make a stop in Dublin as well. I was lucky enough to catch one of the first performances of the new Nevermore earlier this year at @rockstadtfest.official - boy, can @berzan_onen sing! The whole team is amazing, don't sleep on those tickets or you'll be sorry!

It's no secret that throughout my Irish photo adventures so far, @3olympiatheatre 's holy walls have always been a dream I was chasing with every shutter click. I'm in love with this glorious stage and the team taking care of it has always been exceptionally kind and welcoming. Working there has always been an honour and I always hoped my work will find a home in that special place for Irish music.

Well, today that dream is coming true: one of my photos from @teddyswims 's excellent performance in 2024 has been hand-picked, printed and is now getting ready for its designated place on the 3Olympia Theatre walls.

Grateful for this gift, honoured to have my work up there, in the company of so many great artists with a camera. Here's to more cool photo stories!
