Grazie Michelangelo! Oggi a Cervignano del Friuli in occasione dell’inaugurazione della sua visionaria opera La Pace Preventiva, ho potuto condividere finalmente con Michelangelo Pistoletto la pubblicazione Ricette della Terza Terra per un Convivio Post-Antropocentrico. Partendo dal suo simbolo trinamico del Terzo Paradiso, il progetto è nato come azione demopratica all’interno della mostra Terza Terra. Michelangelo Pistoletto e Cittadellarte a Villa Manin curata da Guido Comis e Paolo Naldini, nel Rebirth Forum coordinato da Giacomo Bassmaji. E' un libro d’artista e un progetto partecipativo edito da UNPLI FVG nel quale ho coinvolto le Pro Loco del Friuli Venezia Giulia a ripensare ai piatti della tradizione che vedono come protagonisti i vegetali e i frutti tipici di questo territorio in chiave vegan, in dialogo con la cuoca macrobiotica Serena De Prophetis e con la grafica di Eleonora Furini. 'Ricette' immagina un ponte collettivo tra passato e futuro radicato nella possibilità di coesistere, dove le soluzioni si servono in un piatto cucinato come un rito di cura. Thank you, Michelangelo! Today in Cervignano del Friuli, on the occasion of the inauguration of his work Preventive Peace, I was finally able to share with Michelangelo Pistoletto the publication Recipes from the Third Earth for a Post-Anthropocentric Banquet. Starting from his trinamical symbol Third Paradise, the project was born as a demopractic action within the exhibition Terza Terra. Michelangelo Pistoletto e Cittadellarte a Villa Manin, curated by Guido Comis and Paolo Naldini and of the Rebirth Forum coordinated by Giacomo Bassmaji. It is an artist’s book and a participatory project published by UNPLI FVG, in which I invited the Pro Loco associations of Friuli Venezia Giulia to rethink traditional dishes featuring the vegetables and fruits typical of this territory in a vegan key, in dialogue with macrobiotic cook Serena De Prophetis and with graphic design by Eleonora Furini. Recipes imagines a collective bridge between past and future, rooted in the possibility of coexistence taken in Cervignano, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy by @tizianapers

Domenica 24 maggio alle ore 18.30 verrà presentato il mio progetto partecipativo Ricette della Terza Terra per un Convivio Post - Antropocentrico a Villa Manin di Passariano nella giornata conclusiva della 23° edizione di Sapori Pro Loco presso l’area lo Sono Friuli Venezia Giulia. E' un libro d’artista nel quale ho coinvolto le Pro Loco del Friuli Venezia Giulia a ripensare ai piatti della tradizione che vedono come protagonisti i vegetali e i frutti tipici di questo territorio in chiave vegan, in dialogo con la cuoca macrobiotica Serena De Prophetis. Partendo dal simbolo trinamico di Michelangelo Pistoletto, il progetto è nato al Rebirth Forum coordinato da Giacomo Bassmaji nell’ambito della mostra Terza Terra. Michelangelo Pistoletto e Cittadellarte a Villa Manin, curata da Guido Comis e Paolo Naldini insieme allo staff curatoriale di Cittadellarte (2024- 2025). 'Ricette' immagina un ponte collettivo tra passato e futuro, radicato nella possibilità di coesistere. Il volume, edito da UNPLI FVG e con la grafica di Eleonora Furini, raccoglie 43 ricette che, in stretto dialogo con i miei acquerelli sui luoghi della mia terra, costituiscono un attraversamento ancestrale delle stagioni, restituendo la pluralità di sapori, tradizioni e conoscenze, incluse quelle linguistiche. Istanze etiche, ecologiche, sociali, culturali, politiche convergono in un ideale e prelibato banchetto, dove le soluzioni si servono in un piatto cucinato come un rito di cura. La mia più profonda gratitudine va a molte persone, tra cui Antonio Tesolin che per primo ha accolto la mia proposta, Sabrina Peressini, rete neurale del progetto, e a ogni persona che con attenzione ha trascritto, nelle lingue e nei dialetti originari, gesti antichi tramandati di generazione in generazione. ART_HISTORY / Arturo, 2026 by Tiziana Pers at Hypna Studios. “The ART_HISTORY series represents one of the cornerstone projects of my research and, in an even more radical sense, of my everyday life. It consists of proposing to a breeder, butcher, or fishmonger an exchange: one of my paintings for an animal in their possession that was destined for slaughter. The performance, each time focused on a specific individual, questions how aware we are of our daily actions, how much they affect each single life, and the impact they have on ecosystems as a whole. 14 years ago, direct action led to the liberation of 2,639 beagle dogs who were destined to die in vivisection laboratories. After years of demonstrations with thousands of people in the streets against the Green Hill breeding facility in Montichiari (Brescia), on April 28, 2012, some activists diverted the protest march, cut through the fences, and entered the facility, freeing dozens of dogs and thus triggering the permanent seizure of the site. 2,639 beagles were rescued and adopted. Many of them were living in terrible conditions, crammed into cages, suffering from giardia, ear infections, and severe skin diseases. The closure of Green Hill ultimately led to the conviction of those responsible for the breeding facility for animal abuse and killing. My gratitude goes to those who cut the fences, to those who defied law enforcement, to those who personally took part in the liberation, to those who supported the legal battles, and to those who won them. My gratitude goes to those who brought them all out, down to the very last oppressed victim. We must return to the streets. We must return to direct action. We must remember, to shape the actions to come. Almost one year after its opening, the major exhibition Why Look at Animals? A Case for the Rights of Non-Human Lives at EMST – National Museum of Contemporary Art Athens, closes today with a Grand Finissage Curated by Katerina Gregos, Director of EMST, the exhibition is dedicated to the rights of non-human animals, highlighting the urgency of recognising and defending their lives in an anthropocentric world that marginalises and oppresses them. With over 60 artists and more than 200 works across the museum, it is the largest exhibition ever organised by EMST and the first major international exhibition on the subject I present different works, including the ongoing series Art_History, through which I rescue non-human animals from slaughter exchanging them with one of my paintings In the slow motion footage video Saut Dans le Vide a fleeing pig climbs onto a truck and leaps into the void The Age of Remedy activated as a performance during the Symposium (AGAINST) ANIMAL CAPITALISM involves plates as performative objects, each embodying a commitment to abstain from animal-derived products Hands Off Sanctuaries! consists of nine portraits of pigs killed during a violent police intervention at a sanctuary in Sairano (Italy, 2023) In The Sleepless Monkeys, a series created under conditions of sleep deprivation, my body sought to come closer—if only by a small step—to the condition of the individuals portrayed, condemned within laboratories of animal experimentation Finally DO NOT FORGET / THE WORLD TO COME a neon sign displayed on the Syngrou Avenue façade of EMΣΤ, will upon the exhibition’s closure serve as a reminder for collective responsibility in light of our common future and that of the future of the coming generations It has been an extraordinary journey, alongside remarkable people for whom I feel immense gratitude beginning with Katerina Gregos And I am certain that this exhibition has laid the foundations for something entirely new, something that now calls for care taken in EMST Athens by @tizianapers
