after a late night in Hong Kong

Tonight March 28th the cakeahop pop Up club hops over to Shenzhen to one of its favourite club destinations to see their good friends over @oilshenzhen

If you’ve been to Ném, there’s a chance you’ve “had to” sit through an entire long album—one that rises and falls so deeply it gives you goosebumps.

On Sunday mornings (most weeks), Ném invites DJs, artists, and musicians to play within the space. You might encounter a different side of their sound or aesthetic in that moment, at a time when it’s rare to see a DJ behind the decks or a violinist performing outside the context of a full orchestra.

Or simply, we gather to listen, really listen again to one or two forgotten albums, or to revisit a musical era we’ve lived through, or are still living in.

the reason i haven’t posted anything lately is because i just went through top surgery. and on the exact same day i was on the operating table, my Keep Hush set dropped on youtube
after that i honestly had zero energy to even promote my own set. it’s wild because 2 amazing things happened to me at the same time, and i was honestly overwhelmed and i didn’t know how to process all that emotion at once
but here i am feeling better now, i want to invite you my friends to look back at some moments from my set. if you like it and want to listen to the full set, it’s up on youtube, the link is in my bio
