Prince Charming…my angel…my king & my friend….my lover….my one he is….he is 🤍

He is the man who never required me to change a single thing, yet has changed me in every way imaginable.

He is the man who regulates my nervous system and quieted the anxiety I once carried so heavily. The man whose actions reassures me in every way so I never have to question his words.

There is a peace that comes with knowing you are my person. He provides the safest space for me to be emotionally vulnerable all while being my voice of reason. You’ve helped me understand that protecting my peace is worth more than proving a point.

He is the man who stepped into my son’s life without ever trying to overstep. The man who called trade schools & Universities, scheduled barber appointments & prioritize guy time with my son whenever he visits. All without having biological children of his own yet.

You never had to become someone else to love me. You never asked me to become someone else to be loved by you. Yet somehow, loving you has made me want to become the best version of myself.

And today, on your birthday, I hope you know just how deeply you are loved, appreciated, respected, and cherished.

I thank God for the man you were, the man you are, and the man you are still becoming.

Yesterday I turned another year older, and I’m walking into this next chapter different.

I’m thankful for the man I was, the man I am, and the man I’m still becoming.

Every setback taught me something. Every closed door pushed me toward the one meant for me. Every late night, every sacrifice, every moment I kept going when nobody was watching built me into who I am today. None of it was wasted.

To everybody who showed love, sent a message, picked up the phone, or showed up for me, I felt every bit of it. Thank you. I don’t take it for granted.

To my future wife, @tj8507 thank you for loving me out loud, for being my peace and my biggest supporter. You make me want to be better in every area of my life. I’d choose you every time. 🤍

To my lil sis @__brittaylor you’re more than family, you’re one of my best friends. You’ve been rooting for me every step of the way, hyping me up when I doubted myself and celebrating my wins like they were your own. I’m proud to be your big brother.

And to my dad, you molded me into the man I am today. Your work ethic is something I’ll never forget, and you always pushed me to be better than you, which blew my mind because in my eyes, you were already the man. That kind of love is rare. A father who wants his son to go higher than he went. I’m carrying everything you taught me, and I’m going to make you proud. I love y’all both. 🙏🏾❤️

This year I’m going bigger. I’m betting on myself, protecting my peace, and building the life and legacy I know I’m called to build. I’m not asking for it, I’m working for it.

I’m grateful for what God has already done, and I know the best is still ahead.

I DID IT !!!!

2003 I began creating on black planet and MySpace but they were way too technical for me.

2004/2005 I began creating content on Facebook when we needed our SIU.edu email to join.

2013 I made my first IG post back when it was only pictures

2014 created my first YouTube video to honor my now Matron’s wedding.

2021 I finally joined Tick tok & made my first post

Today I woke up as a monetized creator on tick tok , a paid monetized creator on FB and I finally became monetized on IG 🥹

Night Swims are top tier 🥰

Saving for our dream wedding while helping my son’s dreams see the light of day wore me out this past weekend.

So I unplugged.

While I floated beneath the sky, my fiancé grilled steaks by the pool and reminded me that being loved can be as simple as being told to rest.

Love like this refuels my soul. And in every lifetime, I’d choose him all over again. 🤍♾️ by @tj8507
