We brought a full-size semi truck onto set.

There is no faking the vehicle at the center of Don's story. His car was hit by an 18-wheeler, so the semi driving shots needed the real thing, full scale, shot like a character. And it meant a lot to have Tyler and Henry, two of our executive producers, on set helping through the shoot. On a lean production, nobody just watches.

Some things you can cheat with projection. Scale is not one of them.

It’s odd to bring up Christmas-themed content in early spring, but we’d be missing out not to share it. We got to work with @leisurevans over the holidays creating a lighting setup for their Christmas video. It was a lot of fun and very approachable to create the light needed on our large studio cyc wall. The footage included is from their team! by @tjamesphoto

Here in the studio, we were looking to create a defined look, in this case it’s messaging interviews from a client. A simple set influence to draw the viewers towards the subject matter. Some bookshelves, tables and lighting motivation went a long way! #bts #studio #slate by @tjamesphoto

What an amazing group of guys to start such an incredible film for our day. Diving into what I believe is the most pressing topic on the planet for our mental health. Look out for our next feature documentary! @stephen.jb.gray @chrisleclerc @samgoingwest @sypher.films by @tjamesphoto
