At 3am this morning I laid down but I couldn’t go to sleep. Something made me open the notes in my phone and I started listening to a song I wrote a few years ago back “Trap Phone”. I don’t wanna bore y’all with a long story so Imma keep it short. When I write music I write from my heart from my soul. At 3am this morning my soul wanted to hear this and for me to let y’all hear it. The originally planned video was never finshed so unfortunately all I have is a few clips from the video idea. Last night a client came in and after his cut somehow the happy conversations everyone was having took a turn 🥺The man started to tell us about the many loses of life he had recently faced. His son, and then his daughter exactly one year apart on the exact same day. 😯 He went on to tell us how 4 months later he lost his mom, and then his wife. 😔🙏🏾 He summed it up by saying he gets through his days by taking those unimaginable loses as “The process of Life”. 🥺🙏🏾🙏🏾 At that very moment I knew that I had stepped into the right business venture . Just knowing that I created a space where he felt that he could share his story, pain, and coping mechanisms meant everything to me ❤️‍🩹 When first getting into this space I only had hoped for a place that people would come and find inspiration of some sort. But last night I felt that what was created was more than just inspiring but also a place where people can feel comfortable and at home. Thanks to my mom, sisters, cousin, my boy Jay, Chrisbarber, and everyone that was here during that moment and helped create that vibe that inspired me to push for even more! ❤️ Salute to bro for sharing his coping mechanisms and strength which motivated me to realize even more that sometimes “It’s the process of life” 🤞🏾 #STATUS || @goatstatus203 💙🏁 #newhavenct taken in New Haven, Connecticut by @tjay848

UNFORTUNATELY, We’re gonna have to postpone today’s Grand Opening event. We tried our very best to make it happen for today but the contractors fell behind schedule by just a day and will need this afternoon to have the shop completed in the fashion that we wanted to open the doors up for everyone.
