Happy Birthday Daddy 🙊🥹🤎

A few months ago, I wrote you a poem trying to put into words what you mean to me and how much I missed you during our time apart. And in YOU being YOU… you took my words and turned them into a song. 🥹🎶

So for your birthday, I wanted to give those words back to you—this time with a lifetime of memories attached to them.

Looking through these pictures and videos reminded me just how truly blessed I am. Through every version of me, every chapter, every dream, every win and every hard season… you have ALWAYS been there.

And there’s one memory in this video that means a little more. I found a video of Uncle Moonie wishing you a happy birthday. 🤎😇🕊️It’s been a little over a year since we lost him, and I know how much you miss your brother / best friend. It felt only right that somehow, he got to be a part of wishing you Happy Birthday this year too. 🕊️

To My Daddy 🤎

This year apart has felt so long,
Yet your love kept helping me stay strong.

Life changed fast and took a turn,
But you showed me how to rise and learn.

When the studio chapter came to an end,
You found your footing once again.
Back in Colorado, you started anew,
Working hard like you’ve always known to do.

While I stayed here chasing dreams in L.A.,
I missed you more than words can say.
Through every phone call, laugh, and tear,
You somehow still felt close and near.

And now the next time I see your face,
Won’t be an ordinary time or place.
You’ll be there when I say “I do,”
One of my dreams coming true with you.

You’ve taught me strength, you’ve taught me grace,
You’ve been my safe and steady place.
No matter how old I grow to be,
You’ll always mean the world to me.

So before I become somebody’s wife,
I want to thank you for shaping my life.
For every sacrifice, every lesson, and every part—
You’ll forever be my hero and hold the biggest piece of my heart.

* HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY DAUGHTER -
We packed the past in boxes but the pain just wouldn’t fit.
Last year we tried to salvage what we could for 26’
Put our name and everything we had behind a plan so sweet
Everything you make & put together you can’t always keep.
All we wanted was to open doors help others reach their goals.
But something else with bigger plans came & took control.
Memories is what we’ll take with us, the blood, sweat and tears
Make sure to keep a clean cloth for all those Smokin’ Mirrors
The ups & downs a rollercoaster of a year with glitz & gloom.
What will never be the same, is the sight of a Full Moon
Life changes with each day, we just try to live in truth
This journey that we’ve shared, I call my Fountain of youth
My baby girl is grown, she’s a beautiful lady…
If I had to do it over, I would Warn (her) that maybe
It won’t be easy as it seems, while chasing that dream
And people will say All the Things they don’t really mean.
The blessings that we have will help us overcome the grief
Stay strong and hold on tight… to your faith & beliefs

This year was KILLER — no easy road,
We watched the weight, we felt the load.

But through the wreckage, dust, and flame,
You never changed, you stayed the same.

You gave up things you could’ve kept —
The shoes, the time, the nights you wept.
You bet it all on sound and soul,
And built a dream that couldn’t be sold.

We lost some ground out in L.A.,
But what we built will never fade.
Now you’re back home where roots run wide,
With love and family by your side.

The studio’s not lost — just moved.
It’s planting deeper, finding groove.

And I believe with all my heart,
It’s in this place, a new start.

The Moon Man’s gone — his laugh, his light,
But still he watches every night.

The sky is quiet, but he’s near,
A steady calm you’ll always hear.

He left the world but not your side,
He shines above, a faithful guide.

The moon may rise, the man may rest,

Happy Father’s Day, Daddy 🥹🤎🙊

You’re the best dad—there’s no debate,
A heart so strong, a love so great.
You stood by me through every mile,
Through law school stress and every trial.

You gave up comfort, time, and rest,
Sold your shoes to build our best—
A dream called Killer Instinct, bold and true,
Built on sweat, and faith, and you.

You searched through jobs and led me right,
Till Warner Music came into sight.
You cheer the wins, you catch the falls,
You answer every one of my calls.

These days feel heavy, the future unsure,
But your love and strength will still endure.
Even if the studio fades from view,
You’ll never lose me—I’ll always choose you.

You always try to do what’s right,
Even when the world feels tight.
You teach me lessons, deep and real,
Through every scar you help me heal.

Happy Birthday to my daughter everyday you make me proud
The hard work that you’ve displayed throughout the years has allowed,
For you to see there’s so much more in this world that can be done
While letting those that bought us lunch, not really be worth all the crumbs…
The ups & downs and obstacles have brought us to a new height
this journey we have had, are the best times of my life.
I thank you for that!!
Thanks for all you’ve done for me.
Boyz II Men came out in 85’, for me it’s 93’
Many thought I wasn’t ready, I don’t blame em’ for that.
You’re exactly what I needed, you’re my angel in fact!
As we pivot towards another plan we’ll see what it involves.
We’ll do our best to add success as we continue to evolve.
Times change, we will grow, good times come & go
The best is yet to come, this for sure is what I know.
Keep striving to be the best with whatever you want to do
And just know I’ve got your back, nothing’s ever been more true…
What we don’t know sometimes surprises us and fear has a say…
That’s never stopped us making moves or make a play to work our way.
As for us my love for you…. will only last forever
Your futures bright a lot’s in store
