Chris’ back all finished and Healed, this was a lot of fun to do and I love the idea he had to include the sun and moon into the design. Thanks so much Chris! It’s always so special to do someone’s back. ❤️ @heartandsoul_tattoo taken in Heart & Soul Tattoo Melbourne by @tjday_

Hi! 👋I have some new followers so thought it’s a good time to repost my bio from the @heartandsoul_tattoo IG ✌️

✨MEET OUR ARTISTS!✨ ⁣
T.J Day @tjday_ ⁣
⁣
TJ has lived in Melbourne all her life and began her tattoo career here in 2012. She has a passion for traditional tattoo imagery and loves tattooing and painting in this style. She is the co-owner of Heart & Soul Tattoo together with Brian Graydon. @porkrobot
⁣
TJ met Brian 21 years ago when her husband was getting a sleeve tattooed from him. She was soon getting her very first tattoo from Brian, and then another… and then another! TJs early experiences at the tattoo studio not only had a huge impact artisticly and created a desire for her to become a tattoo artist herself, but as her career progressed what stood out about those early glimpses into the world of tattooing was how positive the experience had been.⁣ This is something T.J values and she wants all her clients to experience each time they visit! Getting tattooed is exciting, you should leave not only with a great tattoo but also having had a great time at the studio.
⁣
TJ has been fortunate to travel overseas and tattoo in different countries, most notably to one of her favourite cities and favourite tattoo shops- @queenstreettattoo in Honolulu.

When she’s not tattooing TJ loves spending time in nature, going camping and to the beach. She loves mid century art design and architecture, collects West German pottery spends time with her little cat named Toasty!
⁣
TJ would love to do more traditional tattoos with a Japanese influence, florals, tough things and fine line tattoos. And imagery with stipple shading. Outside of tattooing TJ has been working with glass and learning leadlighting. She’s hoping to find the time to make some more art outside of tattooing and maybe play some drums again after a couple of years off! ⁣
⁣
You can check out more of TJs work on our website and you are always welcome to pop in for a chat and ask any questions or arrange a booking in person. ⁣
