there’s something about getting so lost in a book that you forget you’re even reading. 🖤

If you need any convincing to read The Count of Monte Cristo, let this be it!

The best book I’ve ever read (and I’ve read a lot of books) it really really is unbelievably good!

I’ve seen people saying ‘once you finish, you’ll wish it was longer’ and I can definitely vouch for that! 1243 pages and never was there a point I was bored!

I LOVE a good revenge story and they truly don’t get any better than this!

Life tokens 🪙 for joy 📚

I’m making a big effort not to buy books on Amazon wherever I can because big JB does NOT need any more of my money.

Also I can confirm that buying books from a bookshop gives you the same smug feeling as going to the gym 😂

SO my initial plan was to cram the Cresent City books ready for Splintered harmony at the end of the month BUT I’m also tempted to take my sweet time and drag them out until January for forgotten melody?!

Alchemised literally is as gorgeous as everyone says it is. Very excited for this! I actually said ‘ooo’ out loud when I saw it

Cute little shelfie at my local bookshop! They gave me bookmarks with my books as well so my old receipt is now in the bin after putting a shift in saving pages.
