Looking through the family photo archives, there are lots of pics of me and Josh like this. What are we doing you ask? Your wildest guess is as good as mine. Frankly, we were always on some ridiculous project or adventure, and I can’t think of a single crazy idea I had that he didn’t go along with, or vice versa. Well today he’s turning the big age of forty, and you may ask if he’s finally going to mature and settle down. The answer is: not if I have anything to do with it! I often think about how fortunate I was to snag this one. She’s the whole package! Beautiful, smart, funny, kind, always down for an adventure, and a strong contender for greatest mother of all time! It was a wild trip around the sun this time - packed full of adventures, new houses, new life, highs and lows and everything in between. Introducing Colette Kristine Willink! This little firecracker burst onto the scene today after showing up totally unexpected nine months ago. So far she is very snuggly and cute but also seems pretty opinionated (She will let you know if she doesn’t want to be put down). My heart is very full and I feel so blessed to be a boy dad and now a girl dad as well! by @tjwillink

The day has finally come! August Willard and Solomon Dennis were born at 8:10 and 8:12 pm respectively last night. We already love them so much and can’t wait to watch them grow up into the bestest boys ❤️ by @tjwillink

Today is a very special Father’s Day for me since it’s the first time I get to celebrate as a father! Over the past year, as I’ve reflected on what kind of father I want to be and the values I want to instill in my boys, I always find myself thinking about my dad. From random games and traditions he established with us, to the Godly wisdom and life lessons he passed on to us growing up.

I wouldn’t feel even a little bit ready or equipped to take on the job of raising three boys if it weren’t for the legacy of my dad, and his dad before him, raising their sons with care and intention. I’m so grateful to be the recipient of this legacy, and by the grace of God, I hope I can carry it on with the next generation of Willink men.
