POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I am so excited to announce and share my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at the 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐍𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐚 - 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐧 beginning the Fall of 2026! This is an absolute dream come true! Since the beginning of my bowling career I have had a vision of being a Husker, just like my Coach - Coach Shady. I never imagined that I’d be “good enough” to take this journey, but I sure wanted to try and do everything I could to make it happen. Today, only 5 years after starting USBC youth leagues, here I am committing to going to the NCAA Division 1 collegiate bowling program of my dreams! 𝐆𝐎 𝐁𝐈𝐆 𝐑𝐄𝐃! There are so many people that have been alongside me throughout this journey that I need to thank and recognize. But, I wanted to start off by thanking my parents, Darren and Katie Kretz. Dad and mom, you two have been there with me every step of the way, always believing in me - sometimes when I didn’t even believe in myself. You have provided me with countless opportunities to be the best version of myself I can be. You’ve pushed me, held me accountable, sacrificed for my future and loved me unconditionally. For everything you have done and continue to do, I am so grateful! Thank you to my Coach, Mike Shady. You continue to believe in me and challenge me to continue improving my game. You have given so much to me and I thank you. I appreciate the role model you’ve been, too. John Ferretti of Rolling Meadow Lanes - THANK YOU for all of the lane time you have provided and continue to provide for my training. Without this time, dedicated to my craft and this sport would be so much more difficult. I appreciate you more than you know. My family and friends.. thank you for guiding me and supporting me on and off the lanes. I owe so much to you guys. There is so much gratitude, so much love, and just so much appreciation that I have for all of you. Thank you to coach PK and JB for this amazing opportunity! As they say, GBR ❤️🌽 by @tkbowl28

I went on my first official college visit, and wow. I am lost for words.

First, thank you @j_bond28 and Coach PK. It was a true blessing to be out with you all. I couldn’t be more thankful for the opportunity you have provided me, while experiencing this moment.

The team, girls, and the hospitality was amazing. @jillianmartinbowling , what an amazing host you are. I had such an amazing time.

Even though I haven’t been living in Lincoln, NE for very long, it has had one of the biggest impacts on my life.

The last 5 weeks, I have been attending church every Sunday at Mercy City. They have a challenge, it is called the “3 week challenge” it is something they do here, where you attend their service every Sunday for 3 weeks (in a row if you can). They preach about how they believe you are planted in God by being in the house of God. 5 weeks might seem not very long to change your life, but Mercy City, you have changed my life for the better. You have made me understand the meaning of God better, what it is like living as a CHRISTIAN.

I live by 3 things now.

1. Love God
2. Love others
3. Live your life through Christ.

I am proud to say, I live my life through Christ everyday now. 5 weeks. That’s all it can take for a MAJOR POSITIVE change in YOUR life.

Junior Gold 2026 💙🎳

What a week.

• 🥉 3rd Place Finish
• 📺 Made the TV Finals
• 🇺🇸 Named to the 2027 Junior Team USA

This tournament tested me in every way, but I’m leaving proud of everything I accomplished. Thank you to everyone who supported me throughout the week—my family, coaches, friends, teammates, and everyone cheering from home. None of this happens alone.

Grateful for the memories, the lessons, and this incredible opportunity. Time to keep working because we’re just getting started.
