Finally! Got these two Peter de Séve prints framed! He’s one of my favorite illustrators. The Something Rotten Broadway comedy musical poster has been sitting in a box waiting for ten years. We went and saw it in NYC with the original cast and it was a wonderfully funny show. My absolute favorite illustration of his - “Easy Being Green It Is Not” featuring a Kermit the frog/yoda meet up has been on my wanted list for years. I almost bought a full 24 x 36 wrapped canvas of it back when they were doing Star Wars weekends years ago. I kicked myself every time because it would’ve been awesome in my studio. Then he offered it as a gicleé fine art print. Smaller but actually better for my wall. I could not pass it up. It’s been sitting on my desk for about two years waiting. Now it sits on my wall in my studio. I used frame destination to customize the frames and have them shipped to me. They are wonderful. The something rotten frame is a reddish mahogany wood and has a Cabernet colored inside mat and a textured tan outside mat, which fits the print well. the Kermit and Yoda print has a cream colored outside mat with a grayish green inside mat to match Yoda‘s colors. Also, it has a bronze brownish frame, which is perfect. by @tkgentryart

Thought I would share a few of the details from Stealth Mode. The Randall Boggs focused design I did in the Monsters Inc. RSVLTS drop last week. I’m a detail guy even if the style changes on the shirts I do. This was so fun to really dig into the visual mechanics of Randall’s abilities! I had a great time watching his scenes MANY times to get the hang of it. Hope some of you would enjoy getting a closer look at just a couple of the scenes. by @tkgentryart

Another beauty arrive today! From the Mind of Dr Zappe in the RSVLTS Carnival of Curiosities collection. It was so fun to do the art elements and base frame layout for this. Am so pleased with how clear the tiny details came out in the text and art on this. Perfect for spooky Halloween or just everyday!! by @tkgentryart

So grateful to have two of my designs included in the Monsters Inc. RSVLTS Drop today! Second we have Stealth Mode. Randall is one hard to find villain. Slinky and sneaky he vanishes and reappears right when you need a good fright. Check out his shenanigans! by @tkgentryart

Extremely honored to contribute my design to RSVLTS classic Universal Monsters collection with “The Invisible Plan”. A tribute to the Invisible Man starring Claude Raines. Scan through mad Dr. Griffin’s notes and experimental diagrams to unlock the secrets to invisibility. You may see the unique plant from which he obtained Monocaine, the very substance that granted his unique form but also drove him mad. There also lies a few coasters from the Lion’s Head Inn and Pub that he roomed above as well as a few hard to find photos of the bandaged opaquely impaired man. by @tkgentryart

Thought I would share a piece of the final layout and a few of the details. A lot of love and attention went into this. Really proud of my contribution to the designs on the shirt. From the mind of Dr. Zappe, now available at rsvlts.com. Go get it! Some of the sizes are already selling out! by @tkgentryart

So excited and honored to have worked on the artwork and base layout for theRSVLTS Carnival of Curiosities - Mind of Dr. Zappe shirt! It was a collaborative project for me that was amazing. Virtually all the art and most of the framework layout was me as were a few of the fun notes but the larger bulk of the written ideas for the attractions and story details came from the team lead, John. Thank you for letting my creepy fun imagination run wild and add some fun personal touches with the visuals RSVLTS!! by @tkgentryart
