Thank you to everyone who showed me so much love on my birthday! ❤️ I truly had birthday behavior in the best way possible and had the BEST time celebrating with my family and friends. 🥂✨

I’m especially grateful for the relationships in my life, the new ones and the beautiful friendships that have spanned 30+ years. There’s something so special about being surrounded by people who have loved me through different seasons of life, and I don’t take it for granted. ❤️

Happy 18th Birthday to my favorite girl in the world 🎉💖

Today hits a little different because you were born on my Founders’ Day, and as a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, that alone already makes you special 💚💗

From traveling the world ✈️ to hitting the slopes ⛷️, college tours 🎓, fine dining 🍽️, and etiquette classes 💅🏾 you thought we were just outside. What you didn’t realize was every experience came with lessons in cultural literacy, personal polish, and community engagement. By taking you to service projects, community events, and programs that showed you the power of showing up and giving back ✊🏽. All designed to prepare you for this next chapter. The random beach days, dance routines, and animals we continue to encounter cracks me up. And honestly, I loved every single moment of it. 🤸🏽‍♀️

But watching you grow into a confident, cultured, kind young woman has been worth it. Welcome to adulthood, baby girl. The world is waiting on you 🌍✨
